If you click on the name of the dxcluster you are connected to on the main screen, you can select the time limit there, along with edit the watch list. It saves having to go into the setup to change that setting.

Thanks for that update! One question, on VOACAP don’t you need to set that to SSB instead of CW for more accuracy for voice contact? Unless of course you are trying for CW? Thanks! I’ve got an update to do later tonight 😊
@n4hnhradioАй бұрын
Yes, set VOACAP for the mode and power you will operate. I work lots of CW. That’s covered in my earlier videos in this series. I keep mine at CW 100W mostly.

I suggest that you reach out to Inovato. Their support is purported to be good. Please report what Inovato says.

I didn't see this, but the NTP? (Time source) has been moved from Page 2 to Page 1) - It's easy to miss, but if you leave it empty, HamClock will default to "Built-in" and go through a process to find the "best" time (lowest "ping") and pick one for you. I prefer to pick my own. Another thing, in my videos, I use an HDMI capture card to record the screen (on OBS). It's a little cleaner (IMHO) - thanks for your videos

HI, Did you notice that HC just released a 4.08 update?
@n4hnhradioАй бұрын
Yes. Elwood is busy lately with updates. And updates to the updates. I already alerted my Patreon team members. I don’t always post to the public, especially since my regular viewers have seen my videos showing how to know when there is an update and how to install it.

@n4hnhradioАй бұрын
Need more information. Which Ham Clock device are you using? Is it the Inovato Quadra, Veritium, or is it installed on a PC? Is that the full error message?
@socallars3748Ай бұрын
I'm getting the same but with FLRIG, "FLRIG no connection" error when I try to click on a POTA/SOTA/DX frequency. Inovato Quadra, FLRIG is running on my main shack computer, everything on the same LAN.

Man, you need to learn how to use filters! No wonder your map is a mess. What possible interest can you have in seeing (for example) europeans working other europeans on your dxcluster map. Just filter out stuff you're not interested in, or more realistically, filter on spots that originate from roughly your area.
@n4hnhradioАй бұрын
I use filters, when I choose to focus on something particular. I mostly chase SOTA activators. They don’t usually stay on the same frequency more than 5 minutes - 10 minutes maximum. The reason I requested the Zoom option was to Zoom to the areas where SOTA activators are operating, so I can see some separation between callsigns. What I don’t wish to see are spots that are 30 minutes old. Unless they are a DXpedition, they have probably moved on after 30 minutes, especially the SOTA activators. I don’t want to see 400+ spots on the map, when so many are over 30 minutes old. So I requested to be able to limit the age of the spots to less than 1 hour. The new release allows us to filter to the last 10, 20, 40, or 60 minutes worth of spots. I choose 10 minutes.
