In this video I show a fun loop antenna I received from MFJ. It is called the MFJ-9232 QRP Mini Loop Tuner. It is perfect for anyone dealing with an HOA, living in an apartment, condo or town home. It is compact and light weight making it extremely easy to carry around and set up! It takes only a few minutes to set up!

Hi Craig. Thanks for the video. I was just thinking about getting the MFJ-9232 and wanted to check for videos. There you were, posted 2 hours ago. lol It does look like a fun antenna to play with. I also have the FT-891 that I carry in a backpack for doing portable ops. Throwing this little loop tuner in there would be a nice addition. Too bad you did not make any contacts. I just mine. It will fit in a small pack sack pouch. Its about 3x3x3 (give or take) and it weighs 1.1 pounds.

Is this loop very sensitive to RF noise? My condo also as a lot of metal so will that be a possible issue? I plan to mainly run 40m.

How did you tune that with the receive, did you ever try the antenna analyzer? D e w3oj

Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. No I didn't use an analyzer. With loops I tune to the highest noise level and then fine tune it from there using the radio's built in SWR meter.
