Ham Radio is primarily a hobby that unites Hams worldwide through radio frequencies. However, during emergencies or natural calamities, any licenced Ham or a local amateur radio club may help the authorities concerned only after a formal request by the govt. Hams believes in One World and One Language which is English. No other languages are permitted in the Ham band frequencies. there is no like sheme but you can apply for genral in genral you can send morse code 200w of power and also you will get vu3 callsing and can use cw and for restricted grade you have limitation upto 100w i guess and also you will get vu2 callsing and also you cannot send cw or morse code
