Interpreting for two hours straight is quite the mental endurance test. Kudos to them for their hard work

The translators are doing a good job. This is an extremely difficult situation - three languages on top of one another. Luckily I manage two.

Such a valuable conversation! It's so enjoyable to hear director Hamaguchi talks about his process of filmmaking.

I love every minute of watching these two masters talk. Interesting to hear them discuss aspects that recur in Hamaguchi's work. In 1:40:08, they talk about the Tohoku earthquake being a prominent recurring element in his early documentary work and in Asako I & II. At 36:10, they discuss Hamaguchi's style of using frontal face shots in Asako and Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy. 49:25 they discuss the use of mixing professional and non-professional or first-time actors in Happy Hour, Asako, and Drive My Car and Lee Chang Dong is also cited as employing a mix of professional and non-professional actors as well.

The interpreter is doing a great work but it's difficult to follow the conversation because i can't barely hear her.

so impossible for me to enjoy with layers of dialogue, I recommend having someone type live subtitles
