This video is a summary of my visit of Tharparkar, Mitthi where I spent good time with local residence. Its a very peaceful and crime free area and Hindu Muslims living together nicely.
I visited Hindu Temple and met with Pujari and published separate video of that visit.
Hindus and Muslims are living in Tharparkar with a ration of 50/50 % and they never had any issues, living peacefully together.

This Eastern region of Sindh (Tharparkar, Amerkot and Mithi) was 85% Hindu even after independence and now it's only 51% Hindu, on the verge of being minority here as well. Nothing seems fine.

In 1947, nearly 7 million people from Pakistan moved to India and nearly same number of people from India moved to Pakistan. These Indians are quoting the figures from 1941 census before the independence of Pakistan and India and the migration of nearly 14 million people. The language written in the Hindu Temple is Sindhi since people in the Tharparkar district of Sindh province speak that Sindhi.

As Tharparkar dist of Sindh is Hindu dominated ,communal harmony and brotherhood prevails there ,but simultaneously it is true that Poverty, malnutrition and unemployment is high there. Forced conversion/nikah, kidnapping of hindu dalit girls by vaderas is also reported from this region.Many Hindu families have migrated to Indian cities like Jodhpur, Jaipur,Indore, Ahmedabad,Delhi and got indian citizen ship and well settled here. Very rare cases of returning to Pakistan might be there. Anyways shukriya bhai for posting this video which is full of gratitude ,harmony.

@Samar Das. At partition, because of division and bloody riots in united Punjab, both govts swapped populations. In east punjab (India) there're 52% muslims but now only 1%, similarly in west punjab (Pak) there're 24% hindus and sikh but now 1%. Luckily there're no riots in Sindh because of strong Sindhi culture and brotherhood between Muslims and Hindus. But when millions of muslim refugees from UP, CP and delhi came through Punjab in very bad condition, also migrants from Rajasthan and Gujarat to settle in Sindh, there're few attacks on Hindu brothers so they got scared and left for India.

@Kiran Kumar Sahoo. Don't try to mislead people and act all innocent. There were 33% muslims in united Indian sub continent now you have 15% so there's a loss of 18% muslims in India. At partition, Muslim majority areas which came in Pak had 24% non muslim population (hindu, sikh, christian etc) now Pak have 5% so a loss of 19% of non muslim population. So the loss of minority in both countries is more or less same. It's a shame that it happened and a million plus innocent people (more muslims than non muslims) died on both sides. We should learn from history and try to have peaceful relations.

60 سال پہلے ہم مٹھی تھرپاکر میں رھا کرتے تھے اس وقت صرف ہمارا ایک ہی گھر تھا جو مسلمان تھا میرے والد میکینک تھے اور _65 کی جنگ میں پاکستان کی فوج کے لیے بغیر تنخواہ کے کام کیا بغیر کسی عہدے کے وہاں اسکول اور ڈاکٹرز نہیں ہوتے تھے اس لیۓ میں اور میری بہن کو والدین نے کراچی چھوڑا تھا ۔اناج وافر مقدار میں ہوتا تھا ۔پانی کا کوئ اچھا انتضام نہ تھا اونٹھوں پر مشکیزے میں پانی لایا جاتا وہ بھی مٹھی والا اور نہایت گندھا ہوتا تھا وہاں پر سڑکیں بن گئ ہیں دیکھ کر خوشی ہوئ ہمارے زمانے میں لوگ میرپور تک ٹرین میں سفر کرتے پھر آگے ٹرک (لاری) میں منزل تک جاتے تھے سال میں ایک دفعہ اپنے ماں باپ سے ملنے جاتے تھے ریت کے ٹیلوں کو جبل کہتے تھے بس اس پر چڑھتے اور پھر پھسل کر نیچے آتے یہی تفریح تھی گھر کی چھت پر مور آتے تھے ہم روز دانا ڈالتے تھے راتیں بڑی تھنڈی اور خوبصورت ہوتی تھی وہاں سانپ اور بچھو بہت ہوتے تھے ایک سانپ کی قسم ایسی تھی کہ وہ اُڑتے تھے اور انسان کے سینے پر بیٹھ کر صرف اپنی سانس کے زریعے انسان کو ماردیتے تھے اس لیے اپنے پلنگ کے چاروں طرف پیاز اور لالٹین جلائ جاتی تھی روشنی کی وجہ سے اپنے آپ کو محفوظ رکھتے تھے اب بھی ایسا ہوتا ہے یا نہیں پتہ نہیں۔وہاں کی مٹھائ بہت اچھی ہوتی تھی ۔مائ بھاگی جو مشہور لوک سنگر تھی میری پیدائش پر محفل سجائ تھی ۔
