Using TypeScript in NextJs 13

Hamed has literally every video I need I decided Id start learning TS recently since a lot of tutorials use it and knowing TS would help me understand a lot of the additional code being added so this is just the video I needed right now

Same here. I didn't really want to learn Typescript as it takes some time away from building my project, to learn another new technology and convert my jsx files to tsx. However, it seems prevalent enough in the industry that it seems to make sense to have Typescript on the resume.

Subscribed! Your content has been exactly what I needed on more than one occasion recently. Thanks for the helpful videos. One question. I don't have the option to "Use Workspace Version," of typescript. Only the VS Code Version. I don't get the prompts for the advanced type checking. I was able to get the vscode folder if I do command + shift + p and go to workspace settings.json but currently I don't get the type checking and it looks like the plugin is only enabled if you can "use workspace version."

Great video, but any ideas why I cant find the TypeScript plugin after I install the next project with TS, even by doing the ctrl+shifht+p command?

Not sure why that is 🤔 I just tested it with a brand new install and it works.

With the end-to-end type safety possible with the App router and React server components, I'm not sure if you'd need a tRPC stack anymore.
