I rather drivers be themselves rather than have a HEPA filter attached to their mouths that filters out anything even a tiny bit "Offensive" FIA does not need to AIR radio messages, after all these are DELAYED.

I think that Max didn’t get a penalty because he’s Max. Fernando got a 10 sec penalty for the same sort of move. The penalties need to be consistent.

Hamilton also got penalty for it in Silverstone, only difference there was that, Hamilton was breaked, not divebombed.. so conclusion, braking is bad, next time just divebomb for less penalty..

Not only him not getting a penalty, but the stewards saying Lewis could've done more to avoid the contact. Max was out of control and it was a turn they wanted Lewis to what keep straight for as long as possible making the corner or apex be damned?

Verstappen's behavior at Hungary demonstrates once again the apple doesn't fall far from the tree: Jos is known to be a hothead and was convicted for domestic violence. He may state he's not gonna change, but he will eventually have to or he'll learn the paddock can become a very lonely place, even for champions. There's a reason Lewis does occasionally moan on the radio but rarely gives his team lip service: you're not gonna win anything if only few people want to work with you. This isn't a matter of late-night simracing, this is a matter of treating your team members and those you share the track with as human beings.

The majority of these drivers are overpaid babies. They either bought in racing or were moved into racing because they have family member or parents who were racers. The only one who didn't do that is the 1 that Formula 1 fans desparages constantly and that's Hamilton. Everything that Lewis has achieved has been through his skill and talent and absolute marketability as a good person and spokes person for the sport. Max is a terrible person just like his daddy.

Being very driven to succeed is absolutely no excuse for acting like a 6 year old petulant child. People do listen. It's F1. Honestly I don't think the sport would suffer if he wasn't there. There are several drivers just as quick as him. If Red Bull was my team I'd sack him and Marko. No driver is greater than the sport. It's the car that wins the races, not the driver. Not only that but he's dangerous. You want to see fair racing not some moron running people off the track because he can't handle losing. The stewards need to be far more heavy handed with him.

Put a Norris or Russell or even a Piastri in the same car and you might find Max isn't as invincible as you think. You don't really know if Max's Red Bull is quick on this track and in these conditions on this day because it's a high downforce car, there is less curb running, it's a new engine, Max set up more for the wet and the others set up for a dry race. There are so many variables that come into it. No one will know how fast Max really is until there is a top level driver sitting next to him in the garage in the same car. We saw the same with Alonso when Hamilton became his team mate, we saw the same when Rosberg became Hamilton's team mate, we're seeing the same now that Hamilton has a competitive team mate. There really is no excuse for the way Max behaves.

Hamilton had all the expensive toys as a kid. Nitro RC cars aged 6 in the 1990s before they were mass produced. These were rich adult toys in 1991 let alone 6 year olds. Also he might have had a used Kart, but racing at 2+ clubs per year cost high earner adult money.

Based on your logic why they install upgrades, when there was cars 20 years ago too.. the team radio is now part of the "show".. so if any grammy awards thank you speach also contains some bad language, it's not the speaker mistake, why did they recorded it..? It's not work on that way, he know that all team radio is now open, and anybody can listen the whole race recently, for all teams..

Drivers being themselves is one thing, but competing in what is seen as the pinicle of motorsport demands more respect. I'm a professional and so is my wife, within our roles we have to act appropriate to uphold professional standards. This should be the same for motor racing stars. For me the team should tell the spoilt brat to clear his desk over the radio and make sure he understands that he is not indispensable.

I do think there behavior is very important, Displaying road rage is bad!! this is already an issue in public roads and he is normalizing it. Grow up and be professional not a spoilt Kid. I also agree with @zackkragel no penalty !! its Senna and Schuy syndrome again FIA won't punish the popular winner cause it upsets the fans so he gets to be a bully. Max is a spoiled brat and has always been so. His dad isn’t any better. If Max isn’t winning he comes unglued. The incident with Lewis last week is a perfect example. Always someone else’s fault. Reminds me of Mario and Michael in Indy Car. He is a good driver but feels entitled. I like personality in a driver, but not like this, wah, wah, wah, I’m just going to pout and whine because I’m not winning. Never have liked him and like him less and less every race. In his first race for Red bull in 2015 at Singapore, Max was told by his team to let his team mate through. He shouted no. That made me think What an arse. Time and time again over the next 9 years he has continued to prove me right and nothing he has done since has changed my mind. It just proves getting paid $1m a week doing something you love doesn't necessarily make you happy.

Based on your logic: - Hamilton gived more space like Verstappen in Silverstone (2021) - Hamilton moved less like Verstappen in Silverstpne (which is funny, because Hamilton even overtaked a car..) - Hamilton front axes reached Verstappen front axes at the 50 break table in Silverstone, while Verstappen only achieved this about 10m away from the corner, alias 40m later.. - Anything what Hamilton should do to avoid the contact, it's alao true for verstappen in Silverstone.. So based on those, Verstappen did the same or was more guilty in Silverstone like Hamulton here... giving more space worth a penalty? Or breaking instead of divebombing worth the penalty? So next time in a situation like 2021 Silverstone if Hamilton divebombs instead of breaking, he will be innocent..?

Seriously i think Verstappen was fine. We are in a world too much now where everyone is supposed to be dull and proper to everyone. There seems to no longer be visable drive to success. Too much i feel people are supposed to just move out of the way and let the other car through if it was up to the media and teams. This is a sport and people should be hard on winning. That is what makes the sport enjoyable. Of course max was upset. It makes sense he wants the team to do their best so he can do his best. It makes perfect sense and he was upset in the moment. That is the sport.

This is how it was and will or should be! Problem is that you at the top are making drama out of this sport cuz u want ‘the show’ for millions! I have no problem with max kicking off in Frustration . He's human he's working a hard high pressure job. If letting off steam helps him win then so be it. What i do have a problem with is when other drivers do this they get dragged all over social media as the worst of the worst. Being this passionate about your profession is normal. Especially if you're the best in the world. Why is it that people/fans don't allow this across the board but only for their particular favourite driver. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Still swearing in qually today...guess the warning worked. 😅 honestly I don't care whether they swear, they are intense and it's a high pressure sport but the disrespect is beyond awful..tbf though, he has always been like that. The sport has made lots of new rules just for Max and he still breaks them with no consequences.

Have you all heard what is coming out of kids’ mouths these days? How about the tv shows and movies they watch? Come on now. Max may be a pr1ck but that’s who he is. We need to stop this “everyone needs to love each other, koumbayia none-sense. If F1 wants everyone to see things with a million cameras everywhere, well then that’s what they get. Hyper competitive people being hyper competitive. Everyone needs to stop their friggen crying.

This is the exact reason I've stopped watching F1. Brundle and the rest of the arrogant committee need to keep Their mouth shut. Everythibg they've been doing over the last 4-5 years has pushed more fans away from F1 and towards NASCAR. Those drivers are Not role models but highly emotional competitors and will vent in whatever way gets their message across. The colorful; oops, I mean colourfull; language is on the TEAM radio and Not the broadcast channels feed. The broadcastibg company is tappibg into pricate communications and; along with F1; must be considered evesdroppibg. Now being hobest about how their getting their radio communication, they Must accept and expect those words to be used. I can tell you that Brundle has cussed out his sprites quite a bit but it wasn't meant for anyone within earshot except his kids. You can say F1 is the pinnacle of racing; based on manners and genlemans honor; but the drivers aren't emotionless people, they can't be. They have to have passion and desire and be driven to win above every other driver on the track...which is what makes it exciting. If F1 really wants them to act 180` opposite of how they are now; you might as well broadcast 7 & 8 y/o racing electric slit cars at church. F1 needs to go back to the 1970s & 80s, and just stage the event and let the teams do what they do---race with unhindered UNCENSORED passion and play team radio conversations After they've been edited instead of live.. You guys really could learn from NASCAR and American racing in general. You've lost your roots and emotionm

Max, first and foremost, wants to win. I can understand where the criticism of Max comes from. It seems that Max was very frustrated with the lack of performance and the massive uptick from McLaren have gotten to Max.

When everything is simply lovely, he expresses this on the radio. When things are ff bad, he also tells it like it is. Try to control your temper with that much adrenaline going through you. And let’s be honest, Hamilton is a great driver, but he steered under braking last weekend.

Max & and every other driver did this too, It's called a corner mate. The actual rule is limited to the heavy breaking zone, or drivers wouldn't be able to turn any corners.

Well, the telemethry is open source, you can see is he really steard or not.. by the way Verstappen moved even more in Silverstone like Hamilton here.. just saying.. Hamilton here directly copied Verstappen movement of the 2021 Silverstone (gived about the same amount of space, moved even less, and anything what he should do to avoid the contact is also true for Silverstone, Verstappen should did those too to avoid the contact..) so blame him and you equaly blame Verstappen for Silverstone..

If FIA don't want to hear it dont broadcast the radios. Funny when Lando did the same on Max the Brits where fine with it and now Max dives in and Hamilton turns under breaking and then it's all bad. Hamilton "you have to act like a world champion" Sulking and going off radar for months when he lost to Max when Max became a champion is acting like a world champion? not following FIA rules about jewelry is acting like a champion?
