Hank and Wiley, for your information it's not a case International. It's International Harvester 1486. Case and Ih didn't emerged together until mid 80s by Tenneco company. Case lost their @$$ in the 70s and got bought out by Tenneco. Ih got bought out by Tenneco mid 80s.

@ 31:30 you still are shortcircuting the battery-- the Battery Neg (-) goes to the frame, not to the output side on the solenoid- . The plus(+) goes to the top lug on the solenoid- and short it to the small lug to engage the solenoid and bindix

If the starter wasn't making contact inside, the key switch was probably fine. The external key switch was most likely put in because it wouldn't spin with the original one. Put the wires back on properly, watch 'er light up.

whoa boys. the man at the electrical shop should have shown you how to make those connection. do not and i repeat do not connect b negative to any terminal. the chassis provides that. the big connection on the solenoid should be battery plus and the main tap for all of the electrics of the tractor. the small wire goes to the s terminal of the solenoid. the power will go automatically to the other big terminal. there is no reason to connect any devise to negative as the whole cassis is negative. you had so many electrons flowing though the cables on your last video, that the cables were moving and things got hot. i watch all of your videos and hope this helps. best wishes.

You know. There's one thing that every time I've seen. You guys go to work on these older machines and try to help these owners to get him running again and go and try to look for buyers for them when I see. These owners have so much equipment on their proper days. And so much old time stuff that I grew up with. It tugs on my heart strings honestly. Because these owners have collected so many things that I grew up with and I remember for my generation. And the thing is as it tugs on the heart strings. Because these owners it reminds me of so many people that I knew growing up that I've had a hard time parting because of so many memories that they've had with those things that they collect, so it always reminds me. That you know, these people, the reason why they've had a hard time parting with some of the stuff is because they grew up with it and had memories like we've had.
