Companion relocation allows you to move the pet behind your combat target so it cannot be blocked parried or reposted. Will increase DPS and decrease damage taken by the pet.

Yeah unfortunately doesn't do much solo since the pet will tank no matter what.

You're one of only a few EQ vid makers left, that aren't almost exclusively streaming. Glad you're still up to it. Root rotting feels so monotonous... At least Necros are especially good at it now. 'yay' /shrug I really can't imagine playing anything solo+merc anymore. Seems like MQ on EQEMU is all that's left for me... Bots are just terrible.

Yeah Root /rot bores me, that's why I try to pet tank most things with my necro and play a monk now =P Solo + merc does really slow down unless you are one of the 3 pet classes for sure, that's why I always do 3+ TLP are fun for a bit but can be frustrating, met a ton of cool people on Yelinak. I don't really follow the stream / youtube scene for other content creators anymore, not enough time to watch videos, make videos and do my day job.

Agro kiting is fun. I've had up to 10 mobs at once snared. Just keep running only stoping to dot and resnare

Damn nice. I never tried more than 3-4. I get tired of running lol. I guess putting wounds on them all and stuff would work

What I always struggled with on the necro vs the mage was pets. With a mage its obvious what pet is tank, dps, etc...with necro...not so much

My 100 herioc necro pulls more threat to a 105 mage. The dots with assassin pet is brutal the fact mage pets need weapons shows how bad they are

With the raid EM earrings the necro pet gets better for solo play but so does the mage one. But yeah the necro has a pet and the mage is a true pet class. It’s night and day. Necro is stronger though imo. I could do thing at 120 on my necro my mage can’t solo

You can also grab attune quest from Tender outside upper Xorbb if you want a free safe way to run back and forth to Shards. (Misty Thickets to Shards, click crystal on return trip in Xorbb then zone back to Shards)

In the Towani Series I do all the attune quests, I didn't do any of that for these because I deleted them after their videos. Guild Hall -> Shard's Landing was faster for me also =P

Leave one item on the corpse will keep it in game for you to use when needed.

Im to lazy for that I just auto roll it all. I have noticed in some zones without corpse I can still animate things though.

It’s useful but I hate having it on all the time. It’s a skill issue really I can’t stop correctly when kiting.

For lvl 100 can you test conversion nuke on live target then using undead charm on that target. I saw a video of a guy doing it but no idea when it starts working. Necro res is broken atm, you have to have an EE, but it doesn’t consume one

You mean Bones (live mob) -> undead charm? I think there is an AA that makes necro reagents zero cost after a certain point, no idea why I carry more than one on me atm +P

@@jennahbutler4279 I guess that would be the same way as slowing a live mob, fire nuke turnes it undead for hmm 12 sec iirc then you can slow it , charm it etc. It starts fairly early iirc but dont remember when. I guess you can check the fire nuke series and find out that way...

If you got rid of your heroic gear and never clicked the gear, do you lose out on those clicky AAs?

All armor sets have a version the click. It’s not exclusive to heroic characters and once you have the AA you never lose it.

Overdotting a lot bud, on those mobs you can clearly see almost all the dots are still there when it dies meaning u use too many. use less and conserve mana and be more efficient in the long run. And never use the back command on the pet unless you HAVE to, always use regroup if it's up. Reason beeing back get neglected 50% of the time while regroups basicly never does unless its REALLY far away like many times out of viewrange.

Nice didn't know that about regroup. Yeah lots of over dotting going on, Used to my other necro where I can do them all 2-3 times before the mob dies.
