I wish I had you around when I started machine work. Very clear and concise instructions.

thank you for not taking it for granted that we know anything.... I've been machining for quite a few years now and still find your explanations/reasons very helpful

Fantastic first project, covers so many aspects & you end up with a very nice, & useful tool. Made this a long time ago, heat blued the head a nice purple, brass & Delrin tips (plus others spare), & a brass plug. Still use it most days. Thank you Marc for all you do.

Only quibble is that I wouldn't put the #4 center drill in just then 15:00. It's a good way to get a slashed forearm or ram the back of your hand into it.

Well done Marc, Ian old and crusty, but I think I might make this project. As I am self taught hobbyist, I have many shortcomings as a machinist, and I could use the practice in formal layout and planning SOO. Thanks, cheers , and keep healthy!

Great video channel, very informative. Do you have the drawing files for your projects available to share
@THATLAZYMACHINIST2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can download a pdf file containing all of my project drawings from the first page (one of the green buttons) of my website THATLAZYMACHINIST.COM I hope this helps. If not, you can send me an Email at thatlazymachinist@gmail.com and I will return a copy of the projects. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to write, Marc.

15:28 I thought that you wouldn’t install the No4 centre drill, the back of your hand comes close to catching on when removing a long piece like that, safety for the newbies. Keep safe & well especially during covid19.👍👍🏴
