Nice job on the restore. I like how you left the worn look in the metal, and didn't make the handle perfectly smooth.

+Bruce A. Ulrich thanks, Bruce. You are talking about the big chamfers? To me, it felt like it fit my grip better. It might not be a great idea for a long session of swinging but I am not a framer. I drive nails so infrequently I don't think I'll be getting blisters. If I do, well, I'll ease the chamfered edges a bit more.

Great job Sean I especially like that curve in the handle extra power.

+Opa's Workshop thanks, Opa. Its balanced pretty well too so I don't lose power on the swing.

You really hit the nail on the head with that hammer restoration. Too much? Was that over the top punning? Nailed it!
@SeanRubino7 жыл бұрын
+YouCanMakeThisToo thanks, Caleb! I meant to make the final clip the hammer striking a nail into a board but I didn't want to get too carried away with the puns. There is a lot once could do with the visuals though. Thanks for watching.

Nice work. Need a video with more info on that lathe buffer you used.

+Charlie Thompson thanks, Charlie. I use to use it for polishing turnings but I once polished a knurled brass knob on a plane and the wheels got dirty. Now I just used it for metals. It's essentially the same as a buffing wheel on a grinder motor.

Thanks I was wanting more info on did you make it or did you buy it if so where can I buy one. Thanks again
@SeanRubino7 жыл бұрын
+Charlie Thompson I bought it from pennstateind.com. It is the 3 Step Lathe Buffing System.
