Hi sir, how are you? I'm so happy finding your videos. I've tried it but it uses ammonia, vinegar, baking soda and salt as a chemical mixture because i can't afford the liver of sulfur. I was read many journals and websites and it says that you can make patina with ammonia but i'm still can't produce a metallic color. Can you help me find out what I did wrong?

good on ya, well done. Consider doing yourself a favor and build a solid bench that dosent move about or brace up the one you have. Same with the vice and your working holding general. Everything your working on is wobbling about all over the place - makes it twice as hard to achieve a good result. Keep it up - best, C. PS. the band saw is the exception - looks pretty stable :)

Just a question...is there any problem with using the live center against the threaded insert? Just wondering if it damaged it somehow?

If the wood slicer and tri master are the same thickness, did you have to increase the tensioning force on the tri master? Thanks.
