Y'know, I never had a PS1, either. I had a PS2 and a number of PS1 games, but this cult classic certainly wasn't one of them. There's a nostalgia here for simpler times and simpler games. Prepare for some old-school ass pain.

Yeah, yeah they did. They even have the original version INSIDE this one as an unlock when you (nearly) clear the game and then do some side stuff. AND the helmet is free DLC if you're a masochist lol.
