Hammer vs Golden Wind | Gildedguy & the Rock Hard Gladiator - Story #7 Reaction

Buckle up, cause this is gonna be a long one. RHG (Rock Hard Gladiators) was created as a way for animators to duel each other. Every animator would have their own OC, and they would be free to create whatever storyline they wanted for their OC through duels with other animators. Characters like Jade and Oxob were all from RHG, with all of them having a storyline from their duels. RHG was a thing before KZbin, and most of the animators have moved on from RHG entirely, leaving most characters in a sort of limbo as they aren't being animated anymore. To replace RHG, a new system was created, Dojo Duels. The concept is basically the same, and most new characters nowadays (Arzon and Gildedguy) are considered "Duelists". I'm universe, the RHG system is now defunct as most of the gladiators had died during their duels, being the main prevelent fighters. In accordance to real life, duelists view RHG characters as heroes since they were the inspirations for them to start dueling. Gildedguy's, which is Alfa (or FLLFFL) (green stick figure with the jet sword) and Arzon's, which is Nhazul (the guy at 5:30). And yeah Andre is the founder of RHG and one of the few surviving RHG members. You can come to your own conclusion from here but it's pretty much agreed that Andre regrets creating RHG as a sport which led to the death of all his friends and thus wants to remove all traces of it from existence. (credit to the dedicated Gildedguy fans in the comments) There's also a theory that Andre was already dead to begin with, and is actually an restless spirit (hence why he disappears after the drop). And fun little fact every statue you see in the video is famous RHG. The gladiators you see at the end as spirits all have their duels and storylines. And during the flashback sequence at 6:16, these are the outcomes from infamous RHG fights, with most resulting in brutal deaths (which can still be seen here on KZbin) The entire animation is basically a tribute, and Gildedguy and his team did a fantastic job.

WOW what a compelling story and tribute to all these Oc's, aswell as the story of this video. Gildedguy is a legend for showing these creators their legacy, and memory in his videos. I thank you my friend for this information and this has only increased my respect and appreciation for Gildedguy and the Oc Creators in his videos even further, such a great stick community.

Andre (the stick figure) was the founder of the RHG, the original gladiator, and one of the pillars of stick figure combat animations. Old school RHG fights were bloody affairs that andre now regrets creating and wished to destroy “his legacy” so no one follows his footsteps. Alos rhg means rock hard gladiator and it means that back in the days where stickfighting was at its peak it was a tournament where any animator can add there oc/characters into the lore! Its was very cool and entertaining seeing people like bog vs other peoples ocs and the statues are ocs of some stickfigures that were pretty great ngl its nice to see someone continu these memories
