To provide some form of context, Mar (the dragon) isn’t a gildedguy original character. Mar was a stickman animator and mediator for the Hyuns Dojo community. But one day some bad blood Mar had committed came to light permanently damaging his reputation in the stickman community. What he had done I don’t know but it could have been something to do with his mediator authority and the potential grooming of children (in fact the purple stickfigure obsessed with gold and who later on stabs mar could be seen as someone influenced by Mar) The intensity and validity of this controversy again I don’t know but from what I have heard after this came to light Mar cut himself off completely from Hyuns dojo and maybe even social media itself which could explain why Mar after his death just disappears into the earth. The dragon could be seen as a manifestation of Mar’s bad blood controversy something he can’t be rid of nor does he believe he has the right be rid of it thus why he faces Gildedguy’s attempts to change or free him with neutral apathy accepting the demons he lay with.

Note how there is no mention of Mar's creator in the credits. Barthimo1 (the creator of Mar) left completely. He might have some other socials under a different identity or something but no one knows about it. Barthimo1 had this idea in their head that they couldn't be or get better, which was only amplified after more people found out about what he did. Michael (GildedGuy's creator), was friends with Barthimo1 from what I know, so I imagine it was kinda upsetting to see him give up instead of trying to get better or make things right. I do believe it was the victim of the situation who hit the nail in the coffin, which is also shown in the animation. This is simply what I've gathered from all the comments on the animation, so some of my info could very easily be wrong. I wasn't there so I wouldn't really know. Take this with a grain of salt.
