My Sportster Custom has a 4 inch riser between the top triple tree and the bars. I wonder if your bike were to have the same riser, the 10" apes would have been fine, even with the tank lift. However, a riser setup would raise the gauge too and probably would have raised it up and out of the cowling. Dunno how that would look. Maybe there's a shorter riser that's a good middle ground.

Yeah man, yeah nah luckily didn't need cables extended which kept the cost down.💰 The taller bars look better in my opinion too 👊
