Here is something that no one has seemed to pick up on. In one episode a lady descendant of McGinnis shows Marty a gold cross. She says there were three treasures (very convenient for three boys), The gold cross was part of that treasure. She was never asked what happened to the rest of the treasure or what happened to the other two treasures. Three boys with three treasures. They could never have kept that a secret! And if the three treasures came from the money pit then why are Marty and Rick still looking for the money pit?

Offcourse for getting money from others, who might(?) think they will be a part of a history, plus xtra BIG profit......if so..... offcourse :) , as they knew nothing ever will happend than exploring past history from early times, which is interesting, though ONLY interesting!!! As all knows which one who ever managed to get profit of this island, = Samuel Ball(he SO much deserved it!!) , the former slave, which was there in time :) !!!! I have allways wonder why they havent search for infos how his family have gone, not a word??, after his sudden wealth???, to buy numerous of lands close to Oak island. But as expected NO words!!! Hmmmm...strange!!!!! Offcourse if they had told they knew about family Ball, the story had ended!! So what do they know about Ball family? After all, which ar confirmed, the former slave Samuel Ball, DID buy alot of land!!! HOw could he?? A Former slave!!! The first known visitors of Oak Island, Got wealthy in NOTIME, bought alot of land, got very wealthy!!, NO WORDS OR SEARCH AFTER HIS LEFT FAMILY??!!! WHY Lagina bros?? They woud have known SOOO much about Oak Island, but NEVER hardly been mentioned ??? WHY???

Haha, you're not the only one. I had a hard time keeping it together. I think that is how his name is pronounced, though. A while back, I took two university-level Mandarin classes and learned a little Chinese. I tried to test my skills on some of my Chinese friends, and found that they literally have no idea what you're saying unless you use the proper tones (there are five possible tones per syllable). So now, every time I have to say something Chinese, I try to use the proper tones, as goofy as it sounds.

@@imxploring What Samuel Ball found was treasure most probably buried in "shallow" holes by the privateers/pirates of the day. What was/is entombed deep in the Money Pit adjacent to the cavern(s) is a completely different thing.
@imxploring4 жыл бұрын
@@johnwoa Funny that with all the modern technology and equipment that we're incapable of digging this stuff up.... IF it ever existed. At this point the island has been so torn up over the last 200 years there's no real hope of determining who, what, where, when, or why on the work done in the past.
@johnwoa4 жыл бұрын
@@imxploring It can still be determined, but it would take years and tens of millions of dollars for excavation/Civil engineering and Canadian government cooperation to get the answers. Thanks for your reply! The thing about Oak Island, it is a true land anomaly and there is more than one mechanism at work here--- man made and natural. You have the man-made beach at Smith's Cove replete with all the "now buried" workings and the box drains, etc... and then you have the cavern(s)/voids deep underground that are now completely under water due to the steadily-rising sea level surrounding the island over the past two millennium. In ancient times, all of that was above water and high and dry. Even the two (2) cave/niche entrances that show up on bathymetric maps of the sea floor were above the mean high water line in ancient times. The cavern(s) were accessible from the shoreline ("now submerged") and probably what was originally deposited at the bottom of the Money Pit, an open deep sinkhole, was placed there via the cavern(s). Even Dan Blankenship discovered that a major project of some sort had occurred in the large void under the island when he dug Borehole 10X. As for "what" was originally placed beneath Oak Island, I believe that it was never meant to be recovered and the original depositors eventually left and sailed home. Over time, sea levels gradually rose and covered the cavern(s) entrances and now everything is completely under water and inaccessible. That is probably why all the modern technology and equipment that they have today appears to be ineffective in finding and retrieving "what" has apparently collapsed into the cavern(s) below (i.e. the alleged Chappel Vault) back in the 1800's. They have been fighting the flood tunnels ("booby traps") and naturally-rising sea levels. Oak Island is a true land anomaly and I truly hope that the mystery can be completely solved one day, for the sake of clarifying history. Sorry so Lengthy!
@imxploring4 жыл бұрын
@@johnwoa All true.... the problem is, as I said, that so many different efforts have been made over the centuries on the island that it impossible at this point to determine what was originally modified on the island. Now they spend half their time "discovering" past works and disturbances. The whole island is a mess at this point. While some records exist about prior work it is far from complete and not all that helpful.

I'm not sure about the accuracy of that coconut fiber dating. I think that fiber comes from rum shipment packing from the West Indies which were offloaded on that island to avoid customs and excise tax officials after 1763. I'll have to look into factors causing carbon 14 date overestimation. Underestimation is common due to radioactivity in certain places. In the red forrest next to Chernobyl, samples exhibit dates in the future.
