I'm almost 50 yrs old. I truly enjoy going on camp outs with my 14 yr old Boy Scout. With my sciatica, I just cannot tent camping comfortably anymore. God Bless you.

Rev, thanks for the video review. I just got back today from camping with my son's Boy Scout troop, and the scout master used a hammock for the trip. He told me that he's been using them for years, and absolutely loves it. I've been very hesitant to get one because money is usually tight, plus, I can't sleep on my back (at least not very well). The scout master explained to me that he's normally a side sleeper, but he finds the hammock to be the absolute best way to sleep while camping. After hearing his, and several other assist scout masters' input, I think I'd love to try sleeping in a hammock. May God bless you in your ministry.

I've actually never had a hammock, and have always wanted to try hammock camping since I've only ever camped out of a tent. Thanks for the opportunity!

Never hammock camped before. I've been a ground dweller for over 40 years. As I get older and the ground gets colder I've been strongly considering giving hammocks a try. Winning one would make taking that step easier as there are so many to choose from. So many opinions and suggestions it's hard to decide where to start. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Always a blessing.

I've been a tent camper for years, a buddy brought a hammock for me this weekend and I'm sold. Best sleep I've had in a long time. Now in the market for a hammock before trips in September and October.

Great review. I'm interested in hammock camping as my back protests the ground.

Thanks for the message! And for being there for the kids, that is so needed. I have a Grand Truk Skeeter-Beeter hammock, similar design. Love it especially here in Florida. Ground is often wet, and lots of crawly things, its just more convenient in the hammock, as well as more comfortable. My only issue has been the tarp isn't long enough to cover it for the rain. And with tarp, straps, hammock, and ground piece, it does pack some weight. Usually to the tune of a little over 4 lbs. Still, hammocking is nice! Godspeed with your camps and the videos!

Thank you so much for this vidieo.. You just answered a bunch of my question. I will be getting a hammock as soon as I can afford one for my daughter and I. Been looking for a no tent option for a very long time. We like to camp and hunt in places that are not tent friendly, and this will also give us more options on where we can camp. Again thank you...!!!

Nice video brother, keep up the good work. I love the fact that you are not ashamed of the gospel. I have always wanted to try hammock camping. At 49 years old, sleeping in a tent is just too hard on my back. Take care and God bless.

I do a lot of kayak camping and use a hammock set up similar to this one. My son has begun to show interest in coming with me on my trips so I’ve been putting his gear together but haven’t gotten his hammock yet so if I where to win a hammock it would help get his kit together that much faster. Thanks for the great reviews.

My favorite thing about hammock camping is that you are up off the ground. I’ve been in a tent once when it was down pouring, and we had a little river flowing through our tent.

Thanks for the review. I'm new into hammocking, I started out with a cheap bugnetted AliExpress hammock (€ 19,-) and loving it already. Thanks for your cheap hammock review (why shouldn't you buy a cheap hammock). It's a bit small for me, but it's better than sleeping on the ground. I use it with a therm-a-rest Xtherm mat for insulation. The only problem is that my daughters (4 and 7) are also loving it, so I'm looking for more hammocks & tarps. That's were your reviews (and giveaway) come in. Thanks man!

I have a couple cheap hammocks, a small single that squeezes me, and a big double that has too many seams and heavy suspension. Once I add suspension and a net to it, it's over 2 1/2lbs. It would be wonderful to be able to shave some of that extra weight off, and still have the others for friends and family to use

I have had a lower spinal lumbar fusion and I have never tried a hammock. I have heard they are good if you have a bad back and I don’t even know where to start with a hammock. A free one would give me that option and be just amazing. Thank you for your videos and your insight. Take care and God bless.

I’d like to get into hammock camping because of the lightweight side of it. It’s awesome to just be able to walk up into the woods with your pack and only have the weight of the hammock as your bed.

I'd love a 2nd hammock to give to my buddy. I know if he tried it out; it would be easier to convince him to come out again. We used to go al the time but as he pits it, "I'm getting too old and soft for laying on the ground". ;-)

I've heard hammocks can be great if you have back issues. I remember when I was in scouts. We'd go out, throw down a 1/4" military sleep pad from our 40 lbs pack and sleep like babies...I can't carry a 40lbs pack anymore, and my lower back rudely informed me I'm to old for a 1/4" foam pad to. I'm looking at trying a hammock out so I can get back to the great outdoors I'm missing.

Yeap, it isn't easy climbing God's Mountain to find your place, but the further you climb, the greater He becomes, and the better person we become. I found your channel watching reviews, I've got 2 Hammock Bliss hammocks and don't need another, but I'm in Fl.and need the netting. Lo and behold a True Christian Bushcrafter, standing for his convictions, thanx, and I subscribed. God Bless Brother.

Hey, brother. No need to enter me into this giveaway as my wife and I are fortunate enough to have the gear we like. Just wanted to say thank you for the work you do on and off of KZbin. Newness of life through Christ is something that is all too easy for us (referring to Christians in the U.S.A constantly bogged in the mire of cultural religion) to lose sight of or take for granted. It is so good to see a presence on this platform who is willing to remind others of that in gentleness and respect as we are called to do. But even more encouraging to know that there is so much going on off camera as you impact the lives of folks for the sake of the kingdom. God bless you, brother. Remember to fan into flame that gift which you were first given (1 Tim. 1:6) that you can keep up the pursuit yourself.

Thank you for your profession of faith. I join you in being unashamed of the Gospel (Romans 1:16). Question: have you ever listened to Lecrae the rapper? As far as the giveaway I must say I love my Hennessy Hammock but its heavy and bulky. My wife wants to hammock camp too (car camping) so we’re looking at adding a lightweight second setup for me to use backpacking and to double up when we car camp. I am certainly not the person most in need of a new hammock but would love a lightweight one when budget allows. ALSO: I’m fascinated by the 2Go Systems quilt. Haven’t seen that in the web site yet. Hope it’s economical.
