Two things I enjoy , the rain on my hammocks rain fly and an Owl sounding off , out in the Swamp. I camped in a tent in the late 50's as a kid. After that trip it's been hammocks when possible which is most of the time. About 15 years ago I again camped in a tent and got flooded when a severe storm came ( A tornado in Texas & 90 mph winds ). No hammocks were allowed. I was wishing I was in the wood line and in my Clark Tropical Hammock. Never had a hammock flood on me , Guess if that ever happen I would be swimming from the campsite. Best piece of camping gear in Florida's swamps is a Hammock for a multitude of reasons.

I wish I had tried hammock camping years ago. After camping all my life in a tent I thought back pain was just part of camping but hammocks changed my mind! I'm with you on the sound of rain and wildlife on the tarp. It's very relaxing.

I camp in black bear country and lately have been better at hanging my food bag (just bought an Ursack and started using the PCT hang method.) prior to that I admit I was a bit lax. I’m assuming you’re hanging out in grizzly and black bear country but your hang method appears to rival my old style a bit. Lol. Is it the camera angle? It appeared very close to your camp and low in the tree? Not judging, just curious about your experiences and what your thoughts are. I do enjoy your videos! Thanks

I'm trying to be better about hanging my food too. We only have black bears here but they can still get into your food. I couldn't find a tall tree with any branches up high so I settled for that christmas tree 😅 It was also way too close to my camp like you pointed out...I didn't want to venture far from camp lol.

Those tools definitely make life easier out there. 15 minutes sooner and I would have been enjoying that ribeye!

1-Do you shoot all the shots yourself? 2-Are the places where you set up tents close to your home? thanks

Thank you for watching! Yes, I shoot all of the video by myself and I also edit all of the footage. I live in a desert without any forest so I have to drive a long way. This video was 2 hours from my home and is the closest location to me. My other favorite spots are about 3-4 hours away.

I checked you merch site. I loved it. I want to create a site like that. Can you please tell me the cost of creating a site like yours?

Nice, thank you! Just go to teespring.com/ and you can set up an account for free. They just charge for the cost of materials and a small fee per item sold. You set your own prices so you control how much profit you make. They handle all the payments, shipping, and customer service.
