Haha “kick ass instrument” 😀 Very true. I love this instrument. Even the digital versions of Hammond are good and so realistic. This is really a kick ass instrument. It’s really fascinating technology too. Did you read the story about Hammond and Leslie? Very interesting read. I recommend it.

Hi .. No this is the New Hammond B-3 portable. There are two Leslie's on the video but only the 122 was used in the recording of this particular set. Cheers Malc

Amazing riff, but the mixing engineer shouldn't be afraid of giving that drum kit a bit more bass frequencies, maybe put a pillow in the kick drum to give it more of a kick sound and less of a low tom sound. I can see that there aren't that many mics set up, so I would give an overall boost around the 70-120Hz boost of around 5-8dB on the kick and snare/hihat mics and it should give the drum kit more of a presence in the mix. But, that's just my opinion. Great job guys :)

+DJ Shuffle Agreed. And I'm a drummer! The snare over-powers the rest, especially the guitar. But this was a live mix. B3 is one of the best musical instruments ever.

very nice. I love the B3 tone. It had just enough distortion on it. as far as the sound issues stated on the other posts... it all sounded good to me. /shrug

What is this, a Hammond or a drum clip? God that drummer was annoying, far too loud and rather monotonous. Nice Hammond playing, the little I could hear over the drums!
