Hampta Pass Trek Without a Guide (DIY)

Hampta Pass for me will be one of the most dramatic treks! You start from Kully valley and end the journey in Lahaul. The change in landscape and terrain is beyond beautiful.
I have done a couple of other DIY (independent) treks in the past (ABC, Song Kol, Chanderkheni) and thought I am ready to attempt Hampta independently :)
P.S do not recommend this trek if you do not have any prior experience. Stay safe!

Heyy so a friend and me are planning on doing hampta pass solo by ourselves next month, someone mentioned that solo trekking at hampta is no longer permitted and one has to go either with a local company or with a guide is that true, would you know of this by any chance? Also are there any permits required if we plan on doing this solo..
