wow ive never seen anything like this, how did she develop this behavior? she doesnt seem stressed at all when she bites, it almost looks like a greeting or an "i'm the alpha" gesture. very cool

Bippo was rescued (by her current owner) from a terrible family, which segregated her into a small carton box, made her breed VERY young, and mistreated her. That's why she behaves like that, she doesn't have any trust... sometimes, Bippo bites her owner way stronger than usual (in fact, you may see the owner's fingers with band-aids), while some others Bippo just reacts instinctively, without any real anger, like in this video.

One time when my boyfriend was hamster sitting for me so that I could visit with my grandmother, the hamster had stuffed it's cheeks full of food scaring my boyfriend enough to rush it into the vet. As my boyfriend arrived at the vets office screaming " my girlfriend will absolutely kill me if anything happens to this hamster. She loves this hamster more than life it's self. You have to save this hamster" as everyone burst into laughter saying that the hamster was perfectly fine

Mine does this too. But it's not a bite. He just grabs and then tries to pull my hand into his house or get me to turn my palm over so he can climb on it. It's his way of asking to be taken out of the tank. My wife panics as soon as she feels teeth and pulls back but I just play around with him for minutes at a time. Very rarely the bite because painful.
