I guess you found good stuff on your second day! Man those pieces were gorgeous! Julie's sixth sense about where the rocks are pays off again! Big time! Your finds were outrageously beautiful! And you found at least 1 of everything that Hampton butte is famous for, and then some! Sorry about the rocks in your pajamas! Lol, but that's what happens when you go for a wander and start digging up cool rocks! 😂 Thanks Brian and Julie!

Wow you found some beautiful works of art. I live in Oregon an we used to camp at Hampton Butte when I was little. It's been 50 years since I was there but I believe I need to take a road trip this summer. Thank you 😊

Thank you! Hampton Butte was awesome! I’d love to spend a few more days there! You must take a road trip! Lucky you got to camp there when you were little!💖

You paid your dues on the first day and were seasoned veterans by the second! 😃 Yep you want to be a good 3 feet deep. Lots of digging but so much fun and rewards for the efforts!👍that green Hampton Butte petrified wood. And the agates! Sweet!

Hampton Butte is so beautiful but people have destroyed it by not backfilling their holes. Don’t dig under tree roots (it kills the very old trees) and don’t leave holes people and animals can hurt themselves in.
@AZRockhoundExpeditions6 ай бұрын
We saw a lot of that in Washington! So many holes.

I missed the premier, but had fun watching this. We never have had luck in the wash, except for killer agates in the spring. Have had some good luck right along the fence and further away from the entrance area where every one seems to congregate.
@AZRockhoundExpeditions7 ай бұрын
Yes! That wash was a washout!🤣 and yes, you are correct right along the fence line and further away! That’s the key!😁👍🏼
