Sad to hear about the Chief! I lived across from him in 86-89. I learned to ride my bike then, and accidently crashed into the side of his take home. I reported it to him and he was not worried about it, he was concerned about me. Later-30 plus years, I knocked on his door and remembered me and he said "growing old was not fore sissies." a few weeks later he passed. God bless him and his department.
