Always enjoy watching your videos. Your enclosures are always amazing and your rescue hammies are sooooo lucky! How many hideouts do you have in total? Lol. Could you do some simple diy videos , like the platforms and stilts?

Thank you! Too many 🤣 I have a video like that planned so I can hopefully do that sometime soon!

This gives me ideas for a future enclosure possibly. Right now I have 2ft by 4ft enclosures for my babies 1,152 sq inches or 7432.243 cm sq.

I love hams! Seeing videos like yours just makes my heart explode. So many think it's OK to keep hams and other wee ones in small enclosures, but they really do need quite a bit of space to be happy. Your enclosures and set-ups are just fantastic!

Amazing Carpentry Skills Well Done, I did notice the finger plaster was that from cutting the wire grid? Always look forward to you Hammie Vids.

Thank you! I can‘t remember what happened there but I do remember it had nothing to do with the enclosure so I probably cut myself while cooking or something like that 😄

Great Video!! I am thinking about doing this for my hamster but can i ask you, how much it costs?❤️
@torismyth69753 жыл бұрын
Owning hamsters really varies from person to person, for me it costs about £300-£500 to get the stuff and then regularly £30 per month. I have 2 hamsters

@@torismyth6975 I own two hamsters too haha but i was asking how much it costs to build the cage but thank you so much for your answer❤️

Thank you!! It cost around 300-350€ I think. But I already had the wire and screws so I didn‘t have to buy them 😊

Um, I'm not sure but wasn't there some kind of talking about the safety of the melamine wood like about a year ago. Like that it speads some kind of toxic thing. Not sure. And sorry, english is not my first language.
@odyssey.theoddity3 жыл бұрын
the issue was that the VOC level in melamine wood could potentially be too high for the hamster and that if the hamster was able to chew through the melamine later and eat the wood it could severely injure or kill them. it depends on the owner if they decide that melamine is safe or not after researching. personally, I feel it’s safe to use melamine with a hamster that isn’t a big chewer because they won’t ingest enough to cause harm, and even with a chewer changes can be made to the cage and since it’s a smooth surface the likelihood of this is extremely low. :)

I know, I forgot to mention that in the video but I‘ll add it in the infobox! I know the wood here in Germany/ Switzerland is safe, but everybody should make sure the wood is safe in their country! And are you Finnish? Because of your profile name :D

Ahh thanks for the clearifation, and yes I'm finnish🇫🇮😄
