The cherry blossom is one of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. The film is sensitive and describes so beautifully the children's alienation from their thier parents. The pressure of life overwhelms the children and they simply have no time for their parents and their pain. Another spice is the woman's love for Japanese culture and in her death the husband steps into her shoes and his journey to Japan and the exciting end in front of the mountain. The music is so beautiful and sad as arrows that pierce the heart. The Zen film is a masterpiece⁴

The scene illustrated was the one which made me tear up, but his relationship with Yu was the one which made me long to be so lucky. And of all the music in the film, I think this is the one which defines it. It was so keenly observed and so beautifully expressed.

This is an amazing movie. It just reminds how fleeting life is and that one should focus on what's really really important before its too late. The music is just as nice. It sounded like Enya at first.

(doesn't look like there's an English comment for this) This song is from the video game Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream, released in 2000 for the Dreamcast, composed by Yoko Kanno. The soundtrack was released in two volumes later that year, as Yoko Kanno's Illustrated Guide to the Fairies And Yoko Kanno's Illustrated Guide to the Monsters.

"Little Black Book" (Track #3 im OST) von Yoko Kanno stammt von einem Videospiel aus dem Jahr 2000. Das Spiel hieß "Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream" und erschien ausschließlich in Japan für SEGA Dreamcast. In dessen Soundtrack (soundtrackcentral . com) war es Track #21.

The movie seems to reflect western-biased viewpoint of japan.. But in cinematic perspective it is truely a masterpiece.
