If they are pushed out of that area, their only objective at that point is to walk back into their normal wander range before they resume attacking. I would imagine that was specifically designed to stop players from luring dangerous enemies into safe areas like Hanannie was originally intending to do.

Damn i really love this idea. I am curious what would happen if you push a certain monster from its spawn area to another area where the same monsters spawn.(for instance, push a chicken from the farm just north of the gate leading to al kharid to the farm north of the sheep pen in lumbridge.) This could be really anti climactic, but i can also imagine a lot of awesome scenarios. One (unlikely but awesome) possiblity: After being pushed to the other spawn location it sees it as it's new home and will stay there. Because jagex coding is weird, whenever it dies, the spawn location notices that a monster has died and will respawn it. In this case it would be possible to completely empty one of the spawn points.
