I’m now looking into learning Quran Arabic. (Apparently there are more than 28 dialects of Arabic)😂 A channel called “open minded Christian” has some good content as well, as he researched ALOT before converting to Islam.

What is Hanbali?? What does all this mean? Why are Hanafies making Halal things Haram?? Aren't we all supposed to follow only our prophet? Edit:- I sound like an insult, but I was only curious with a pure intention. I love & respect all our Imams who lived there life's for Islam & all my Muslim sisters and brothers 🌷 Edit:- Farewell sermon of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), "I leave behind me two things, the Quran and the Sunnah, and if you follow these you'll never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; perhaps some of those who received my words would understand them better than those who listen to me directly" By the very last words that are quoted it's clear that the Imams sure understand his words better, but still they did have different opinions. So as a Muslim, it's best if we, like the Prophet (SAW) said "follow these you'll never go astray" follow both Hadith & Sunnah only. And also take advice from all the Imams.(I have a very little knowledge about who is the best Imam, so until I understand better I'll take advice from all of them.)

There are 4 madhab/schools of thought. All 4 are considered correct. The Qur'an doesnt specifically mention prawns being halal or haram. So we inference from other verses categorising prawns as halal or haram. The Qur'an allows sea animals as halal. The hanafi fiqh consideres prawns to be technically insects living in the sea hence they are makruh (not haram). The other 3 madhab consider it to be halal regardless of that. This isn't about making something halal to haram, it's about trying to come up with the best interpretation of the Qur'an.

true…. i’m shafiee.. once during iftar at the local masjid.. a friend told me how our hanafi brothers avoid the prawns dishes that was served… i didn’t notice at first.. n was told that the hanafi madhab hv diff opinion regarding seafood… not sure abt maliki… bt i guess shafiee n hanbali maybe in the same boat as per seafood is concerned… everything is permissible as long as it didn’t cause u harm to eat it… Allahu’alam… 😀😀

Great to see different schools of Muslims ummah together because it is good way to study a madhab to setup your mind in correct health approach to cover everything then go to study other madhab or madrasah or school because it is not correct to stick in one madhab when you find truth in other madhab or schools because the main thing is to follow truth what ever your madhab is Hanbali , Hanfei, shafee, Maliky….etc but it is good that you choose madhab to study first then go to the other one it will benefit you and make you understand the madhab correctly with no Chaos! @@nario1706 Let me affirm the brother. Imam malik, was a human and he, made a mistake. Being big time scholars doesn't exclude you from making mistakes or being ignorant. Imam abu Hanifa, was ignorant to many of the hadith as they never reached him. Thus he has different rulings with regards to things which the other three agree on as being one way. Imam malik, was a great. He however, simply made a mistake.

Sometimes calling others names is not accurate. The layman Muslims are not Hanafi scholar or a scholar from other schools to know what it differs from other schools of thought and why it differs and the proofs for each school. We hanafis don't eat lobster and crabs and octopus i.e calamari because they are Makrooh e tanzihi in our madhab. Prawns are makrooh e tahrimi according to some scholars and halal according to many hanafi scholars in Bangladesh. I personally like prawns and shrimps quite a lot 😁

Salam brother Ali, DUBAI based follower.. you know there was an incident where a Sahabi was told something was forbidden for consumption, so he went to Aysha (ABPWH) and she said no, it’s permitted, quoting: قُل لَّا أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَىٰ طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلَّا أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنزِيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ أَوْ فِسْقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ.. meaning that all is permissible except what is explicitly instructed within this verse.. in addition, another incident where the prophet was invited over for dinner (or lunch) and was served a lizard (like a desert iguana) he turned away from it in passive dislike, to which a sahabi asked: is it forbidden oh messenger of Allah? And the prophet responded: no… but I do not myself like it… gentlemen, all food is permitted- EXCEPT what is explicitly mentioned in Surat al Anaam. Do not forbid what Allah has permitted…

@@abdullahabdullah-bq8eo noted brother Ibrahim, and you are in your right do so of course, but you see, when you respond in this manner- which IS partially correct, it clearly tells me that you have not exercised your other right (even obligation); and that is your DUTY of seeking (and understanding) the knowledge… (here, you fail miserably).. this is “not” my ruling or saying habibi… scholars - from old age and new- have disputed this ruling amongst one another, and the justifications behind that can clearly be found in the literature.. read and you will realize that this is factually documented…to help you understand this better, take the example of the najaasah (impurity) of dogs.. Imam Malik (imam of Madina in his day) denied that fatwa and said: anyone who claims the dog is impure has no basis for that ruling and no right.. the dog is without a doubt pure with the exception of his vomit (impure). Abu Hanifa on the other hand opposes that ruling and believes a dog is utterly impure (najis)… so when I tell you that I own a dog because it is pure, with no reference to the Quran instructing the contrary, am I now making that fatwa myself, or is it the scholars of old (and new)? So you see habibi Ibrahim, why reading & understand the literature is important..? My advice, do not be hasty to throw judgement, and be open for intellectual dialogue.. I don’t like when non Hanafi make fun of Hanafi school , sometimes they do in a slightly manner, with some innuendos. While I never see Hanafi making fun of others Madhab.the brother hinted your life is hard or something like that, but study shows different madahib can be hard on different rules while easy in some if compared. Let everyone live their own lives. We love being Hanafi and we are happy we are following it. While I always respect others, they however try to cut us down and “correct” us all the time in every masjid. It’s horrible.

Hahaha, I used to be Hanbali in fiqh, but then adopted the Hanafi madhab. There are multiple opinions within the Hanafi school itself on matters, so for anyone reading - please be aware of that. An example of this is that there is a difference of opinion within the school regarding prawns, I hold the position that I can consume it as it was considered something clean from the sea according to the Arabs, and this itself would go back to how scholars develop the rulings and how they analyze ahadith in line with the methodology of the school and the practiced Sunnah along with any specific methodological approaches by different Hanafi bodies. This was the position taught to me by my teachers, and it was explained to me as well. Interestingly, there may be positions within the Hanbali school that may sway Muslims away from eating certain sea creatures as well. I've read the Shafii madhab has approx. four opinions on the matter as well, one being like or similar to the Hanafi school.

assalamualaikum ali brother, obviously from the media we know about the tragedy that happened at the astroworld concert which travis scott was performing in, and obviously from the media there was 8 deaths or probably more right now and i think it would be a great video to go over as it seems travis scott, although knowing many people were passing out and ambulances were trying to reach to attend medical aid many fans and travis scott didnt seem to care and lacked empathy aswell as fans lacking empathy and would carry on the show after being screamed at "someone is dead". i really find this interesting as it really shows how thsese "celebrities" may be involved in this satanic industry and it honestly proves just how the music industry is a place of satan. there are clips of him looking at a body and carrying on singing while direcly looking at someone dead. inshallah you could make a video on this and educate me and many people.

Was prophet Muhammad saws hanafi? Hanbali? Etc? At the time of prophet Muhammad saws or even in the Quran or hadiths are people classified as sunni and Shia? No. Don't make such sect. Allah swt says in the Quran: 6:159 Surely you have nothing to do with those who have made divisions in their religion and become factions. Their matter is with Allah and He will indeed tell them (in time) what they have been doing. 3:103 And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. School of thought or believe just refer yourself as a Muslim and In Sha Allah it will be sufficient for you

What I currently read is fiqh but that doesn't matter. It is not about saying who is right and who is wrong, but instead obeying Allah swt and Prophet Muhammad saws and try to live according to his sunnah and I can go on. Of course there can be different interpretations which also can result in school of thoughts. For me if prophet Muhammad saws and his shahabas didn't acknowledge themselves from a school of thoughts or that kind. Obey Allah and Muhammad saws and only refer yourself as a Muslim or a true believer like we can read in the holy Quran Allah swt refers the people either as believer or disbeliever

Similarly, if we don't know what to do, we just look at what imam Abu Hanifa said about it. We don't say others are wrong, we just follow his opinions.

In 1973 a debate occurred between the Khalifa of qadianis and one of our maulvi sahabs mufti mahmud the debate was carried out in the assembly for 12 days and each day 8 hours. People say there even existed footage of that but qadianis destroyed it but thankfully it exists in written form and was published In 2010 or something officially by the government. There is even a speech by mufti mahmud about it on internet if you Understand urdu.
