It's only once their emotions are involved is when they become mortal; it wasn't until after she told him who he was and he was emotionally charged at the fact of believing he's been alone for so long to find out he wasn't is when his mortality kicked in...and her seeing him hurt is what triggered her emotionally and her mortality kicked in. It's not physical proximity that "weakens" them, but emotional 👌🏾
@ThatStevenLouis Жыл бұрын
The one time proximity was when she became vulnerable at the hospital after seeing him hurt; he had to get out of her line of sight (when he jumped out the window) for her to start healing herself. He never regains his memories; so he doesn't have any emotional attachment to her anymore...all she gave him was history and info but his memory is gone gone. So it looks like the further he gets away he gets stronger but in reality, he's getting stronger because he still doesn't ✌🏾know✌🏾 her outside being his friend's wife. The entire hospital even was to show us how their kryptonite actually works and it's genius AF because all Mary knows is the longer they're together they become mortal but even she doesn't know the "how".
