I've tried out and it turns that ep still helps a bit with range. So it turns out that ep has now a very similar efective range that not having it. It feels pretty equal, not that directly not having it means more effective range

i have a rose with rapid hit, ep, hammer forged, accurized, and i’m using combat grip over polymer grip cause i have a handling MW so 70 handling total and seeing 100 recoil direction without a counterbalance mod makes my brain feel good but i might give the other grip a shot. i have another rose with hammer forged, accurized, slideshot, ep, and i’m using heavy grip over smooth grip, also handling MW so 60 handling total. i’ve been told slideshot EP is the god roll but my rapid hit EP feels better even tho it has less stability than my slideshot EP roll. is it worth it to try to get used to the feel of my slideshot EP roll or should i stick with what feels better to me right now? i’m on controller

Yeah, I get it, the impressive two burst function of aggressive and high impacts are nice. But it still doesn't change the fact that the aforementioned hand cannons are very over used and very, very powerful.

Would reccomend not getting super attached to 140's again. Bungie bumped 140's and the sunshot because explosive payload wasn't 3 tapping as expected but couldn't figure out a way to fix the perk. It's not doing less damage on purpose, same reason that sunshot wasn't having to 4 tap on purpose. Once they fix the payload perks the damage will be reverting back to normal.

i just tested for a literal hour in a private lobby, the claim that "you have more range without explosive payload" is just false. my 86 range fatebringer was able to 3 tap with explosive payload at a range where it was not able to 3 tap without explosive payload. given, said range was maybe .2m at best further than no explosive payload, but explosive payload does still give your hand cannon less effective damage falloff. let's not start another destiny misconception.

holy shit wallah is back this gameplay was looking smooth af. honestly fuck 120s man, it plays into slow laney gameplay, 140s have always been a more fun meta. As far as sunshot goes, I used it yesterday and still think its pretty good. Little bit more forgiving in a faster 4 tap and the explosions can be handy against hand holders. Main reason to use sunshot is its just fun though.

ngl if its just me getting old, but i stopped pvp mainly for handcannon, i cant wrap my head around a pistol that has as much range as some scout and does that much damage (3 taps).
