Hawkmoon holds a special place in my heart. It was the main Exotic I wanted in D1, as I played on PS4 so I was able to get it. But, even with relentless grinding every week. I didn't get it to drop until the first week following the release of House of Wolves. Me farming Hawkmoon had become an inside joke with my group of buddies. It dropped at the end of the first HoW Nightfall rotation. My friend noticed the feed and was so shocked, he just blurted out loudly through the mic " got Hawkmoon!!!" We were IRL friends, so he knew my name. He was just so shocked he yelled what the feed said to the left lol. It had become such a inside thing that even they were insanely hyped when it dropped. Good times.
