I'm almost 4 years in recovery and spasticity is still kicking my butt. But I've restarted my catering business. Grateful that I have lots of help with this especially for lifting stuff. My left foot however is still an ongoing struggle. My toes are super tight. But not curled inward thank God. Can u do a video for exercises with that in mind please ❤. I'm lifting 3 pound weights now. Thank u Soo much couldn't have done it without u❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you so much for making this video‼️ I want to rehad my hand/arm. But every video I see on line starts at a more advanced level than what I’m at. I need to start from step one. Not only does this video do that. But it also shows me what to do in future steps. Which gives me hope that there is future mobility for me👍🏽‼️

Yeah well find a new dr I was told in May 2020 no more walking for you yet here I am in November 2024 walking a mile daily not well as I have not been able to overcome my foot drop but I walk it everyday without fail even on the days it rains I find a way to get over to my local grocery store and just walk laps around the store 😇🤓

@arnavrajput8120 I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Are you able to see a mental health counselor or psychologist? Getting mental health care is so important after any trauma, including health trauma. While I can't say that your hand will return to your normal, I can say that potential for progress is always possible when you put in the work. Are you able to receive therapy?

Hi, I would definitely encourage you to do these exercises, on a daily basis and continue doing them, even if you don’t see immediate improvement. My right arm got paralysed due to the stroke and it took some weeks of exercise to re-establish the connection hand-arm-brain. Also to be able to resume writing with a pen or on the computer’s keyboard was a challenge, but I would try handwriting more than once a day. The physio had said to write my name 10 times every day and gradually add the surname and then also the address. This needed time and determination, but it also helped to achieve great results. Keep the faith and believe in yourself as much as possible. Best wishes to get better soon!

Great video and very helpful. I would say I am in stage 5. However my arm isnt there yet. I have most of the active movements, but when I lift it I compensate a lot with the shoulder and keep it quite away from my body (I think because it is hard to keep my shoulder externally rotated). Can you make same videos for shoulder, upper and lower arm for the different stages? That would be super awesome. Also any tips to restore arm swinging while walking?

@PostStrokeOrg
@PostStrokeOrg 14 күн бұрын
@prosperitygeneration1723 Releasing your grip/opening your hand after a stroke is a common difficult movement to regain. The hand/finger flexors often have higher muscle tone or spasticity making it easier to grip but more difficult to release.
