Solid advice from reception there. Thailand is no place to learn how to ride. Only have to look up amount of road traffic deaths per year. Your health insurance wouldn't have covered you in the event of an accident either because you don't have a bike license. Play is safe girl.

you did not see the monkey last time........today, very brave of you even you have not had paddling before but you still went anyway. lol...........i m having fun watching you today. i am so sad some rule changed and you couldn't get to ride on scooter. you can take a riding class pretty quickly i am sure you can rent it. for your safety.

weird most iv seen onn a scooter is 6 kids and a goat in phuket i rented a bike in koh lanta but he was a friend of the wifes . and yes i did fall off going up a mountain to nature reserve we had a cottage on the beach there was fantasic

got to give credit to the hotel owner , they normally just give bikes out quite easily . i had a motor bike accident in thailand and nearly lost my life . its not a good place to learn , i had experience and still messed up
