Hand Forged Bowie Knife

This little 9” overall Bowie knife comes in at exactly 6oz and is a super effective cutter for all sorts of scenarios. EDC, Bushcraft, Defense, it’s a versatile blade with a wide variety of uses. As always it’s expertly heat treated, able to split nails without turning the blade, and properly convex ground, able to cut a free falling piece of paper out of the air. With a 4.5” blade and handle, it’s perfectly balanced and comes in a compact size you can carry with you every day.

That’s a good point I used to think a polish was just a looks thing, but found, as you said, it makes it more resistant to deep moisture damage, and really easy to clean if it does end up getting some rust. Ι appreciate you watching!

Yes I have a website marsfireforge.com where there are a number of pictures of the knives I’ve made and it provides a way to order from something I have already made or something you’d like me to make custom for you. I’m still navigating the internet sales, so the best way to work out getting something isn’t just to email me [e-mail] If you like this Bowie its still for sale at $350 (that includes the sheath) Also I see on your channel you’ve reviewed a number of Esee knives! If you like them you’ll love these, I’ve tested my knives against esee and I’ll tell you, while I love esee, they cut well, but not excellently even when sharp, and those edges fold like butter when they get pounded into a nail. A Marsfire blade will both slice better AND pound through a nail with no damage. I’ll do a video on that soon, but you can go back and reference the “Feather stick and cut steel” video where I do a little demonstration!

Great knife, enthusiastic maker. I think you are onto a great design of blade, hilt, and sheath. Another benefit of convex edge geometry, is that it can peel an orange without cutting into the flesh. It just pushes the peel and pith aside. I am impressed with your dedication to your craft. Keep it up.
