Another great video and easy to follow instructions. Love the method that you used to join the yarn when switching yarn colors or adding another skein. W-O-W!

How to care for this? I had to use Yarn Bee chunky yarn at this time for my elderly Mother. If someone got sick an used this blanket how to clean it? Prob in a hot dryer for like 5 min or 10 min will kill viruses an bacteria. But if something spilt on it...I assume gentle cycle washer with tiny amt of soap? an gentle dryer? I stitched tight because my Mom does not like holes for toes to stick into!. Thankyou for this pattern!

Chunky chenille yarn can be washed in cold water on quick cycle, dried in a dryer on low/medium heat

Love love love this! I do have a question. You said you stitch one row and then pearl the other row? Is it pearl? I am sorry but I didn't quite understand the name of the next row. I know to alternate but was curious to qhat you called it. Thanks for sharing 👍

Knit one row, purl another.

Can you please send me the exact link to get the jumbo skein of yarn I like both of them. And I love your videos
Learning so much from you videos and I have actually made blankets using several of the new stitches (to me). With this stitch, can we use regular chunky chenille yarn? I think you said we could. Also, could you do a tutorial how to incorporate a border as you stitch or how to add one after project is completed. Looking forward to more learning and creating.

Thank yi, glad you like the video! Yes, you can make it with Chunky chenille yarn. Here is a video showing how to add a border: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3iqXoqnbshna5o

0:44 why do we not drop a stich on the ends to make a nice chain like the bottom and the top?
@BeCozi2 ай бұрын
I am skipping the FIRST stitch in ever row to have a chain but not in this pattern as it is alternating knit and purl stitches in each row.

This is a really nice blanket. How many yards is in the yellow ball of yarn? Thank you!
@BeCozi3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. It is an 8 oz ball

@@BeCozi So you do not go by any yardage?

I made this but left starter corner is more square than rt starter side. It's more rounded on rt. How to get square now that I already way up the blanket? sow a piece there? to make it same as other end?
@BeCozi2 жыл бұрын
When the blanket is done, there is not much to do to change it. Sewing the corner the way you want it might be an option

Sorry but could you clarify the number of stitches for small…on the screen it says 18 but you chained on 19. Should it be an odd number? Thanks!
@BeCozi2 жыл бұрын
Sue, I casted on 19 stitches. The subtitles said 18, it was a mistake.

@@BeCozi thanks so much…I’m very new to this and just didn’t know if it needed to be an odd amount. Love your beautiful inspirations!🤗

Do you have a video showing how you used to make a blanket with garter stitch but you turned the blanket over to make the purl stitch?
@BeCozi3 жыл бұрын
When Hand knitting, the blanket is not turned to another side, it is always laying on the back side of the blanket
