Excellent workmanship! When I read the title my first thought was "a horn already has a shape, so the vid must be about cleaning carving polishing and sealing. How else but handmade can this be done." Then I see you carving a horn shape from wood and think "wooden horn? Interesting..." Then you proceed to actually MAKE the horn itself! NICE! Your creativity never fails to astound. My good sir, I tip my hat to you. Well done! 👍

I'm currently making a cross glued board shield so basically 3mm planks lined up horizontally glued together then another layer vertical. Why you didn't apply food safe water based varnish in the inside aswell? That way the horn can be used with both hot and cold beverages, isn't it?
@EpicWorkshop5 жыл бұрын
Since real ones had wax coating inside, I did it that way. That is probably only "historical" thing on this horn hahahah 😂 😂🍻
@annaa40822 жыл бұрын
This is so awesome and i really wanna do it can you wash it and how durable would you say it is ? And could you make it just out of wood carvings ?
@EpicWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Hey Anna, you should definitely give it a try 🤘 Well... not washer friendly but I usually rinse it good under cold water and leave it to dry. Durability-wise, I still have it 🍻 and it definitely saw some action 😂 It is possible to carve it out of two halves of wood and then glue them together but that is lot more work and wood moves quite a lot.. so I don't know for sure... it would probably work. Hope you make it 🤘 Have an Epic day 🍻 Moris

Hello! Your videos are very cool! I have a question: What kind of wax did you use to make the horn fit to drink from it? I'm excited to make one of those horns but I'm uninformed

wait, very thin woodshavings and TP soaked in glue is what you made the "horn" out of?
