Beautiful result!! I think that High Lift is underrated. So many Colorists jump straight to the Lightener without considering other possibilities.

Is it less damaging to use a high lift color w/ a 40 developer than using a lightener with a 20 developer ?? Thx

I've always been very sceptical when using highlifts for free hand & colour. But this video has broken my fear of using highlifts for hand painting & colour. Thanks Matt, lovin' the videos, so helpful. 🎨✌

Love your educational videos. I only have one question. The Olaplex directions state the number 2 should be on a minimum of 10 minutes up to 30 depending on the condition of the hair. Has this changed?

Very beautiful natural look! I'm wondering though, what's the advantage of using a hi-lift color vs lightener? Is it only a timesaver vs bleach & tone? Or is there something I'm missing?

One other benefit is that it can overlap bleach without causing breakage.
