Fantastical! I’m so blown away by this. I’ve been coloring my hair for years and love playing with colors and pigments, and I’ve watched hundreds of not thousands of tutorials. Yours is the first that took color theory to such an artistic and thoughtful direction that now I’m rethinking color all together. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your brilliance, this is life changing.

Ive been doing my own hair for ten years now on and off, and although i do pretty well , ive always had to take unnecessary steps to correct my color on my own resulting in multiple steps you dont ever experience at a salon.. ultimately resulting in the cost being MORE at home than w a professional… so in saying that. Watching so many videos about formulation and bleaching and hi lift. This is the only video ive seen that really slapped me across the face and made everything ive learned so far actually make sense and cut out all bs ive run into. Youre very smart, you know your stuff and you explained it in a way that can be difficult to convey. You are a natural teacher. I hope you are doing well in life. Im just wowing my face off over here. I wish i could do hair professionally! I am hue blind. So i always have to call my friends and ask them to match my color so i know what to do next. So idk that i could ever do it professionally one day, that would kill someones confidence in me if one ever knew. But ughhhh i am literally obsessed w hair color and blonding. Its all i ever think about. Thanks so much for this video its awesome!🎉

@angeloterracciano82223 жыл бұрын
@@sailormoonXx without seeing and feeling the hair in person is hard to recommend and exact formula. But in theory, I’d say wella professionals 2 parts 12/81 And 1 part 12/61 with double 40 vol. That should get you the lightest blonde and the most neutral to cool tone.
@merianyouhanayev542310 ай бұрын
This was incredible thank you for sharing. Im a wella fan so it's great to see this formulation. Also, I don't do too many high lifts or color on virgin hair because I know it shows up warm. But I have to say to this in perspective on using different tones to cancel out the different undertones one by one really was an eye opener so thank you 🫶

But today I recommended to new client to do the strand test for balayage. Coz she has virgin hair. And now I found your video now. Most of the time at the salon , recommended with bleaching. I think we can achieve the beautiful color with the high lifts. When they want few lifts.

Hey, great to find you here with your experticé ;). I have a lot of questions, may you help? I´ve been using wella kolestone special blonde highlift for many years now i´m not quite sure if i´m a 5 or a 6? and stayed with 12/11 (ash intense) because my hair seems to have a lot of red pigment in it, when i mixed something more violet in it as 12/81 it got warmer. The horriblest color was 12/61 i discovered it turns peoples head more pink and so more warm. Yeah so i came to the conclusion that i frist need to fight red pigments with green( ash) to get the best possible outcome than if i use something against orange that contains violet. But i did mixe a bit more developer in it not much only 10g and also added some pure blue--> 0/88 few gram. But my hair is in very bad condition. So i do have to questions, do you know a better highligt, and could i be that bleach with less developer could be more gentle (i know most says not, but i feel like back in the days when i bleached my hair was in better condition?) Is there something better /more effective than wella? I just saw that some highligt contains protein and other builder, is that better? Do you know igore from schwarzkopf? Hope to hear from you need your heeelp!

I want to lighten my roots, so I did a patch test on a small section of my hair. I applied the highlift colour only on the newly grown root area. I used Wella Koleston Perfect Special Blonde in the shade 12/81 mixed with a 30 volume developer. I have previously highlighted hair and the hair turned purple in the places where the highlift color had touched the already highlighted hair. Based on other videos I have seen online this doesn't happen with other brands of high lift colour. Do you have any tips?

Your video was most informative and very important. I told my daughter I had removed the dark brown tint from my hair with Revlon something blonde and I wanted to go with an ash color since my hair has turned gray and white but its not gray now its a light auburn. As you can tell I am definitely a novice. Her last words to me was wait awhile because you are damaging the cortex and I don't want to find you bald. How damaging is it to tint your hair frequently?

Color doesn’t lift color it won’t do anything to your hair if you already colored your hair it would Only work on virgin non colored hair so if you ends have color and your roots grew in which we’re untouched and natural it’s only gonna lighten the root area...you need to bleach it unfortunately

Hey ! Thanks so much for this ! Really good info! What would you do if someone has bleach blonde hair and wants to start having hi lift on their roots. How would you prevent this over lapping ? I’d be so scared to turn the blonde green or blue! Thanks
@dressmaking2 жыл бұрын
I tried Angelo’s recommended ratio on my regrowth. My hair is naturally level 5 that I had bleached to a level 10 with Schwarzkopf Blondme. While I was processing, the hi-lift definitely looked violet grey but when I washed it out, the bleached sections were their original blond color. I mean I was *careful* with my application but it was a DIY job so I wasn’t perfect. I have to say, my regrowth is the level of lift I wanted but the color is still too warm. Next time I’ll try a 1:1 ratio of hi lift to 30 volume developer.

This is the first video I watch for you and I love it ! Question , so if I am dealing with level 8 and level 9 pre bleached hair can I use your same colour theory with the high lift colours and use a 20 volume instead of a 30 or 40 volume in order to lift a couple of tones and also try to maintain the hair’s integrity since it’s already been bleached ?
@angeloterracciano82223 жыл бұрын
Good logic! But I’d suggest using level 9 or 10 color instead of high lift. So if you bleached to and 8 and one to be even lighter try 9 or 10 violet and 20 for 30 min. If you do high lift in that situation your going to most likely get over toned hair.
@inaramusic3 жыл бұрын
9 and 10 violet on the level 8 using a 20 vol? the reason I ask is cuz the rest of my hair is platinum and the nape and back area is a mix of level 9 and 8.
