I've been repairing my items for about 5 years now and I made my first facemask recently. I just learned what the needle threader was for - I had one but I never unpacked it and never questioned it. It is SO handy for thick thread! Thank you, great video!

Is it possible for you to place photos with the needle description on your blog so we can print?

Great video. I recently came across some old needles that have some rust. Can they be cleaned? and how?

Uhm do you have any tips for prevention of tarnish on needles/pins?
@ProfessorPincushion4 жыл бұрын
hmmm....I haven't had this issue with any of my straight pins and I've had mine for a long time and don't do anything special with them besides keeping them in my pin cushion

@@ProfessorPincushion hmmm I guess I need to find a good brand. Mine just come from local brands that have a tendency to tarnish. Would you have any recommendations?

I want a long needle, with a sharp point, and a big enough eye to thread a 12 weight, but not so big that it leaves a giant whole when so try to sink a knot, or two small it shred the thread any suggestions? Loved your video.
