the rule of spin steal doesn't state that spin stealing only works against right spin. As long as you have rubber and are going the OPPOSITE ROTATION as your opponent, you can spin steal.

Beys can spin steam without rubber just put it against a left spin bey and hand spin steal or soft launch and put it against another clockwise bey and hand spin it with your counterclockwise hand and boom

It's more of a spin equalization, rather than legit stealing. Opposite rotating beys try to equalise spin, be it having a rubber or not. Having one, leverages more spin from the other. But it's not gonna happen like you're gonna steal all spin from your opponent, you are actual equalising spin without losing yours sooner

I think a spin stealing bey would need an automatic mode switch to stamina style to do really, really good. Like, put the rubber on a spring-loaded part which only extends when the bey is spinning fast. That way, the spinning speed stays synchronized until it's low, and at that point, attack beys won't have enough punch to knock out anyone, and defense beys will lose to stamina beys. It becomes a stamina duel, and if you have enough weight, you'll outlast other stamina beys. No bad matchups. ...Which I guess is the reason they haven't done this lmao.

No I see what your getting at. Spriggan’s layer is designed for all modes. It has a good attack, but not much compared to an attack type like Valkyrie. It has good defense, but not the best compared to Wyvern. The rubber on it lets it steal spin and gain stamina, but not as much as Fafnir could get. The driver just alters it’s movements.

During the Longinus battle, as long as both beys spin opposite directions, the can spin steal. You could have spun both spriggen and fafnir right to do the test Also, to add on to your last tip, spin stealing is more effective with attack type performance tips.(unless both opposing beys are attack type) generally, attack types lose stamina faster and steal more spin when they spin slower than the opposing bey.
