Hi, My friend who is a seamstress gave me the perfect solution to threading needles, just place a white piece of paper behind the needle and woola the hole becomes clear to thread good for threading machines too

Use crewed needles they have good size eyes.

I remember back in the 70’s when people would embroider on denim and after they washed them, the yarn or thread would draw in and ruin the art. What do you do to prevent that?

I don’t know for sure, but they might have been using wool. I wash my garments first and use regular embroidery thread and have no problems:-)

Hi, I prewash and preshrink all my fabrics and clothing. I have never had the draw in happen.
