VERY NICE VIDEO ! I love that you don't talk much, you show exactly what you are doing and how to do it. Someone else mentioned that you turn down the microphone when your grinding and welding. That is a HUGE HELP ! Thank you for that. Most people don't understand how much noise is involved in welding, grinding and other manufacturing processes. My step father worked in an auto salvage yard in the 60's and used 4 springs, 2 hubs w/drums, a 14 foot 2x8, some nuts, bolts, concrete mix and a little welding and came up with something similar but only better. Not only did ours teeter up and down, the hubs and drums allowed it to spin in circles either way. Hours and hours of summer fun.

I live in a 1930s warehouse built by 7up. Beautiful redwood beams. I16,000 square ft and full of all those tools. Metal and wood lathes. Band saws, table drills and a bunch of amazing things. I’ve been here 2 years and I’m always discovering something new. Belonged to my friend who lived to 85 years. He was a brilliant man and a fantastic machinist. Anyways I wish I had the motivation to create something with all those tools.

I live off grid. By using my phone as a hotspot I watch KZbin videos on my TV. I typically give a like to each video, but I can't comment on the video. unless I go back to my phone, look up the video I'm watching and then comment on my phone, like I'm doing now. So you see I rarely comment on the videos I'm watching. But when I'd seen him dig into the soil and saw all that rich beautiful soil, that's what impressed me also!! Lol 😂 so I had to comment on your comment being you were thinking exactly the same thing. not only that it was your comment that came up first. @@rollovaughan I didn't realize that. I recently found out that 90% of Crimea's water is supplied by Ukraine via the river that cuts clear through Ukraine straight to Crimea. When Russia took Crimea in 2014 Ukraine shut off the water supply to Crimea. If this is true the Russians are also wanting that water turned back on.

Great project! Very jealous of that soil! The thought of just being able to dig a hole like that is a dream, my soil is shist, quartz and clay. Hard as a rock when dry, sticky and like quicksand when wet.

@ Gort55 You could add sawdust and branches, in a couple years the soil will improve. A rock crusher might help, but a thick layer of wood chips works to keep the mud down! Hope that helps!

if you have shist & quartz soil, dig a 5 gal bucket of it, let it dry, screen the dry soil to -1/4" & pan that... the results might suprize you.

Reminds me of how resourceful my grandfather was. He loved his kids & us grandkids. So he made things like this for us. Turning a backyard into a playground. As we got older. Hed build toys for our age like go carts & scooters. He was a good hard working man. Not a mean bone in his body. Good God I miss him!

That is friggin' awesome...kids need more reasons to "Go outside and play." and this gives them a great one... my dad used to do things like this for us when we were kids, a homemade trampoline, a tether ball pole, climbing ropes and a "bosun's net", a set of (we called them) trapeze bar swings, and a set of homemade swings including a wicked cool tire swing... we had a fairly big yard, and it was always full of our friends on the weekends and in the summer... I'm old, but I.M.H.O, the outdoors is where kids belong when they are growing up...running, jumping, doing STUFF in the fresh air...it's called "Wildhood", and it beats the hell out of T.V. and video games. Thumbs up and big props to this dad/inventor👍👍

I had a feeling it was going to be something like this from the start. I expected a simple "Spring Horse" at first then I was like "Wait he's doing a See-Saw... but why the springs?" then I saw where it was going from there and it makes a lot more sense that way than the typical way you'd see people "halfass" it. It's probably incredibly comfortable which is great (I'm sure most people remember getting off when their sister or brother was in the air and letting them slam into the ground) This seems like it'd either be minimized or even completely eliminated with the springs. 10/10

Да-в легком качании может и нет пользы в пружинах, но часто было такое-когда партнер напротив прыгает высоко-вы сами камнем летите вниз и качель бьется об землю и вот тут самое неприятное-можно зубами сыграть об рукоятку-а вот пружины не дадут этого сделать. дядьке-зачот
