Today is the first day I discovered you on U-tube. Happy to find another person with similar interest's to my own sharing that excitement and passion for the outdoors. That Native American stone artifact can function as Adze. Which would be attached to a stick handle and used primarily as a wood chopper and gouge. Or the tool could also be used as a large hide skinner and meat cutting. Sorry about having to work through anxiety. There are many things you can do to help and each individual person is different. Being in nature often is key to making everything better ! Get some Music on that relaxes you or transports yoyr mind somewhere positive. You are talented so activate your creative Artistic side. I carve, cut, and sand wood and that focus forces me to shift my attention somewhere else. That helps me.. Not sure if something else like drawing, painting, calligraphy, photography, sculpture, or playing a instrument , ext. would be a help to you, but it might be worth a try and you likely have already ? Lol, I think it is great that you put on your Mom's chest wadder's and sloshed around in a frozen stream. The tribute to your friend by wearing his shirt was a terrific way to honor him. Thanks for the heads up on the Punk band. Thank you for sharing !🎶

@PACreekWalker My Grandparents lived on a 80 acre farm in Jefferson CO. WI. that the Bark River flowed through. We visited about every other Sunday. I spent as much time in the woods and fields as I could and felt privileged and lucky to do so. Early Native people's lived there. I found my first arrowhead there as a 12 year kid in a plowed field after looking almost all day in the hot sun. I remember the rush I got to hold a tool that was made and used hundreds of years ago to provide food for the tribe. My fascination has never ended to this day with their culture and history is so amazing and interesting to me. I hunt , fish, gather, and work with my hands, and value that experience like the Native Americans do enjoying that life. I have a 80 acre Farm of my own today as my grandfather before me did. He and my Dad fostered that interestin me, which I am forever grateful for in Nature and the outdoors. I am so glad we share the same interest's ! Thank you !

First off, love your channel it's truly awesome and really reminds me of the glory days of KZbin when people would just make videos because they were passionate. I don't have anxiety at least not consistently, so take the following for what it's worth. The days I feel the most messed up (depressed) I can usually link back to particular bad days like I know April 26th I'm gonna feel messed up. I think balance is really important especially if you're pushing too far in one direction. I tend to view balance as Mental, Physical, and Spiritual and for me if I stimulate those things through out the week I generally feel pretty good. Hope it helped a little, and I really hope you get the answers you need.

I don't usually comment on videos but I just found your channel last week and loved it immediately! I feel like we are cut from the same cloth. I walk creeks looking for artifacts too, always looking down when I'm around rocks. I grew up walking the corn fields finding arrowheads, quartz and snail shells. Where I grew up the Delaware Indians once had a camp. Was constantly in the woods playing and still love walking in the woods in the quiet. I love walking Penns creek, I live in Mifflinburg pa and have a special spot I go to just to think. I also suffer from terrible anxiety, mindfulness is a huge help and I also take clonidine. Mindfulness is anything that you love doing that takes your full concentration. For me, I practice a new song on my guitar. I'm not very experienced with it at all so when I'm learning a song it takes my entire attention. Keep making these wonderful videos, this is becoming a favorite channel of mine! 😁

The Native that found that peice of rock worked it down to that and then carried it home and never finished it out or lost it along the way. A hand Axe or Adz will be more refined. Try breath meditation as follows. Find a quiet spot, sit down in a comfortable chair, fold your hands in your lap. Close your eyes or try a flight mask to help shut out any visual distractions. Ear muffs or silent headphones to isolate you from intrusive external sound. Concentrate on your nostrils and mentally focus on your breath moving in and out. In cool, out warm right? Count each breath until you have taken ten consecutive breaths. In out, is one, in out is two....... in out ten. Start at one and go to ten and then repeat again for the total of three sets. One to ten X 3, not one to ten all the way to thirty. You only count ten breaths in each series, repeat a total of 3 times. You just let the breath arise and fall naturally, no need to hold or control the breath, just focus on mindfully counting as each follows the next. If thought arises and it's about something that you are going to do later, mentally label it "Planning" and resume at the number where it popped up. If a memory intrudes then label it "past" and resume the count. If it's vague and neither past or future based, then label it "fantasy" resume the count. This should only take a few minutes in total. We are what we think and doing this exercise will train your mind/body to gradually head towards tranquility, even just a little bit in these few minutes. If you lose count, then resume at one. Try to do this meditation with a sense of self forgiveness. There are no mistakes here, no record to break and nothing to really achieve, except to grant yourself a little spiritual tea break. As you become familiar then you can do one set in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. As you withdraw from these few minutes of breath meditation, just briefly check to see if you are in the same place mentally and emotionally as you were when you initially commenced the exercise. All the best.

This is going to sound crazy, but I'll share it anyway because I'm utterly convinced that my anxiety is getting better as a result of my new diet/lifestyle. So almost a year ago I started eating only beef, eggs, fish, dairy, and basically all meat/animal foods, as an attempt to relieve myself of symptoms of IBS, SIBO and gut permeability. The crazy thing is now after a year all of those issues are completely gone and I'm starting to detect a blatant reduction in my anxiety, PTSD and obsessive compulsive symptoms. I didn't even go into this imagining that these issues would/could be helped or resolved, especially the anxiety that began subtly in my 30's and had started getting worse in my 40's. I just thought I was getting old but it turns out it's actually all related to diet, metabolism and damage to our gut lining. I'll leave a link to one of many video interviews with Harvard professor Dr. Chris Palmer on Dr. Anthony Chaffee's carnivore channel. I can't remember if this particular video even mentions anxiety but I've watched all the videos with both of these guys and they often cover anxiety issues, so this video will be a good starting point for anyone who may be interested. The last thing I'll say is simply that this carnivore diet is easy to adjust to and literally fixed every health issue I've ever had in my life. I lost 40 pounds within the first half year and I'm healthier now in my early 50's than I was in my 20's and actually even as a child. I never dreamed anything could solve all of these issues that the idiot mainstream doctors couldn't even help with for decades. All inside of one year and with multiple sweet cheats on special occasions. Just doing the ketogenic diet alone (so easy) can likely fix anxiety issues, but it'll take a few months and is an ongoing process that will blow anyone's mind in one year. For ANY ailment, this is what fixes the human body. Good luck and god bless, to anyone and everyone who has any interest in what saved my life. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g57TnHttd8eEm7s

@joalyincontroly4379Ай бұрын
@@PACreekWalker You're more than welcome, and you can totally do this. You can transition slowly so don't get discouraged if you mess it up here and there at first. Just keep working toward ketosis. It'll take some adjustment but it feels amazing when you get there. Watch the channels on youtube for all the tricks and encouragement, before you know it you'll be doing a whole new lifestyle and you'll feel awesome. You need to replace the carbs with lots of fat for energy. Your hormones, brain and myelin sheathing that protects your entire nervous system are all made from pure cholesterol and lipids. Saturated animal fat and cholesterol are pure medicine for our brain and nervous system, which is what is shorting out when we get the anxiety and panic attacks. This diet does help with the anxiety and mine is absolutely getting better, but it's taken some time to get healed to this extent. I'm positive there's more healing ahead, and I wouldn't change this for anything now. Also I should have mentioned that I'm not as strict as some of these doctors on KZbin. I have a little yogurt for desert and I like the kind with a little sweet fruit in the bottom. I also still put a tiny bit of local honey in my coffee. Most of the carnivore doctors I follow online say that a guy my size can stay in ketosis while still consuming 80 to 100 g of carbs/sugars per day so I try to keep it around 50 to 80 grams to be safe. The most important thing is no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes etc. All that stuff is pure glucose in the body and it's the roller coaster of blood sugar and insulin that is so hard on us. K I'll stop rambling. Good luck, and please feel free to ask me any questions here anytime. Also I love the artifact hunting, so thanks for all the entertainment🤗

This could be what is known as a quarry or trade blank. An Indian would go to a jasper quarry and rough out a bunch of blanks to use for trade. He would take them somewhere well away from the quarry and trade them for something he needed. The Indian getting the blank would then finish it to whatever kind of projectile point or tool he needed. The fact that you are finding a lot of them suggests they were being mass produced and are in fact blanks.

Ill be as honest as i can. I get that feeling about once a month. I think its just bottled up stress and its completely normal. Everyone has a way that works best for them. One cure for all just doesn't exist. I handle it by just having a few drinks. Wake up next morning, feel clear headed and refreshed psychologically. My mom would drink a couple glasses of wine once in a blue moon. My best friend has a cigar. Some people meditate, scream or cry. Its just a release. You dont have to become an alcoholic or a smoker if you use it in extreme moderation. You dont need a psychologist. Its nothing to be ashamed of. If it were an axe, I think it wouldn't have serrated edges like that used for precise cutting easy to chip if used with force like chopping wood.
