A bit more clarity than the 12EDO version. I think you would get a larger difference if you did the comparison on a real harpsichord, on which string resonances actually matter, whereas a synthesizer (or for that matter a pipe organ, or a modern piano) can just power through a lack of string resonance (although even the modern piano will sound a bit muddy with the wrong temperament -- I wonder if this is part of the problem with renditions of the music of Brahms on modern pianos, in addition to the tendency to be so resonant as to wash out the crispness of earlier pianos).
