@DennisMathias2 жыл бұрын
As I've noticed before, you are a mister at this method of production. I've gotten really good ideas from you. I think I was noticing that the vari filter you are using might be taking some of the sparkle and reflections away from the water. This is of course because of the polarizing effect of that filter. It maybe would have been better to have a plain ND filter..but then it would not be variable. But I don't know how many stops you would need. You are a very good presenter and that's why I'm subscribed. I wish all my teachers could have taught like you do. Of course that would have been 60 years ago :-)
@ZdenkaDarula2 жыл бұрын
I think my comment will make you laugh. The reason you saw the flares there was because I mounted the filter the wrong way. I noticed much much later that it was not perfectly flat on the smartphone. I try to fix it gonna post but I guess you noticed 😂😂👍

Great video! interesting, tnx:) I find that my iphone 11 looks the best when I just lock the white balance and the rest is automatic. When the shutter speed is high, the stabilization is way better, I guess the algorithm catches the little movements when the shutter speed is fast. Have you noticed that the 13 pro looks much more natural than the "plastiky" looking 14 pro?

Very informative as always, but one criticism if I may and which is intended to be constructive so no offence intended. I viewed your video on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and found myself continuously adjusting the volume level during the periods that you were talking as the ratio of music volume compared to speech volume was too far weighted in favour of the music. A few decibels lower with the music would have made for more comfortable listening. But of course this is only my opinion and others may view it differently.
@ZdenkaDarula2 жыл бұрын
And you are absolutely right. I was struggling with this video in adobe premiere pro because the audio levels showed that it was good and balanced as I did lower them…, Once I exported the video and unfortunately uploaded to KZbin it seems like the KZbin is adjusting some levels as it is not the same as I have it on a computer. I have to look into it further. I’m also considering starting to edit and Davinci resolve as I’m not happy with adobe premiere pro anymore that much… Thank you very much for your comment

nice and smart doable ideas, however with mobiles getting smarter by the day, even apps like filmic pro have to raise their bar. I use the Google pixel 6 and it has many presets where the mobile automatically slows down the video while taking cinematic pan and helps reduce tremendous time and post edits, add to it the option of filming with heavy movement. Not withstanding that, am taking away smart filming ideas from this vdo
