Thanks for the demonstration. I almost returned mine when I couldn't get the balance right. Then you showed how to extend the arm to accommodate the Note 8. The video shot outside was helpful too.

Looks like your Note 8 lens is pretty dirty ! You should always wipe it with some silk cloth before recording !

So, I noticed that the payload of the Smooth Q 3 plenty to hold the Samsung Note 8+. I'm wondering if it would help to add a few grams of weight to the hinge side of the phone to help level it off. Comments?

It seems that the smooth Q cannot handle the weight/length of the note 8. The video is not parallel to the horizon and is inclined.

I'm probably going to get the Smooth 3 since the Smooth Q can only handle 200 grams and the Note 8 just scrapes under at 195 grams. The smooth 3 by the same company can carry 260 grams

I think the Smooth Q are not compatible with Samsung Note 8 because note 8 is too big and lost the horizon balancing
