To be 100% Good. The car seat should be one with the seat in the stroller. This way the patient from the wheelchair will not have to go to the car seat, since the car seat will also be the wheelchair seat. For people with a lot of problems Such a construction will be 100% Good.

I am a person with a disability and this van would be perfect for me. I have an old 1997 Ford Aerostar van but I need the hand controls and the Ford needs too much work and is becoming a money pit. I have Post-Polio and was driving until late last year. I am having some problems with my right arm which is my dominent arm. I may get a shot of cortisone to help if possible for that. I am on very low Disability and have been unable to find anyone to help with the cost of a newer van.

I can relate to your problem and the feeling of being trapped at home unless someone takes you somewhere like my husband. I have a 1997 Ford Aerostar with an elevator lift God gave me. It doesn't have hand controls and it is so expensive to add them. I got an estimate of $1800 and $480 to learn to drive with them which is outrageous. It seems to me whenever a handicapped person needs something they feel they can charge you whatever they want. It's wrong and they will have to answer to the Lord for what they are doing to make more money off of people like us. I hope you have good luck.

Lilla Morvai Are you looking for a van? There's a place off of Sunset a d US 19 that sells used vans. But make sure to test drive and have a mechanic look it over before buying. I just got one there at a reasonable price but there are a few problems with the sliding door and getting the ignition key out and maybe gas leaking underneath. It had not been cleaned out or inside.
