Handlebar Swap and Ergonomic UPGRADE - 1983 Honda Magna V45

Swapping out the handlebars to hopefully get better ergonomics and stop kinking my wrists so much on the original buckhorn bars. It was super simple to swap them to another set, though I had to buy new master cylinders which caused a few minor tweaks to the bike.
The Honda Magna was the first muscle bike that started a craze that has lasted for 40 years. Sporting a 90 degree V4 engine, Hydraulic Clutch, and shaft drive the Honda Magna was a direct attack on Harley. A cult following to this day the Honda Magna is a true classic that deserves more attention from the motorcycle world.

Cool. I just Purchased a 83 Honda Magna V45 in very nice condition. Smoking out of tail pipes when I started it before buying. Plugs just look rich.

I just found your channel and it looks great. I've had one of these for 4 years this December and besides from the small petrol tank and having to do a few things to bring it up into this century I love it. One of the first things I did was get rid of those handlebars and replacing them with a set very similar to the ones you put on. I've now gone from getting pins and needles in my hands after about 10 minutes to being able to comfortable ride it for hours. I shall now start following your adventures to see how much you have done compared to me.

i like your videos like how you explain along side showing everything i got a magna 1983 / 750 a few weeks ago which came as parts or repair so most of it was in carboard boxes so your vids have been a great help cheers
