Playing Leeroy into dieing to their knife juggler is nostalgia you just can't get in modern hearthstone. Almost as soulcrushing as Sylvanas/Mind Control Tech stealing your Ragnaros on a board of 4+ minions.

Martian do you know why i can´t play caverns of time cards in twist? I know the set is not eligible but cards like blackwing corruptor are in this twist season but i still can´t use their COT counterpart which is the same card.

Its the same reason why when you type “extra” it wont show you duplicates across versions, it doesn’t recognize them as the same card. It’s ridiculously lame, especially considering CoT is a set specifically made for Twist.

Idk Martian, I feel like Golden Era of HS in terms of like design lasted up until Ulduum. Descent of Dragons is about when it felt like they completely stopped giving a shit about power creep. The designs became more about pushing really strong archetypes and then scaling them down over the course of the expansion with a greater amount of balance patches.

as someone who played from beta till ungoro and stopped when their account got hacked, and started again last year, Ive been kinda annoyed at the twist formats being super unapprochable. I was specially delighted when I learned that today, up to blackrock, I couldn't play the Grim Patron deck that i crafted for twist a few months ago because I crafted the Thaurissan from the CoT set and not from the Blackrock set. Great job blizzard once again.

My point wasn’t that shorter games works for everyone or even that that’s what I want for Hearthstone, just that having consistently short games is not a strict negative when you look at the playerbase as a whole.
