That's not easy!! I had a go at jewellery making and discovered just how much work and skill is involved even for a small piece. I gave up and took up painting instead! But whenever I purchase a piece of handcrafted jewellery, I so appreciate the art.

Wow!! That was a pleasure to watch especially for someone like me. I pride myself on the fact that i used to be a very good cabinet maker just before my spine decided to collapse. At forty years old i found myself unable to work but i am fortunate that the brilliant surgeon who operated on me four years later had skilful hands like yours and managed to get my legs working again in spite of the doom and gloom outlook from a local surgeon. The Robert Jones And Agnus Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital at Oswestry (Gobowen) in North Wales is responsible for my good fortune. Watching this video was a joy for me as i love messing around at fixing jewellery (i use "messing" literally) since my enforced retirement.I wish i had the kind of patience and skill shown in this video. Bravo to whoever it is that owns the hands in this video and thank you for a look into your world of skill and artistry as it made me very happy.

Vaughan Stark - I'm in my early 40s and always wanted to be a jeweler or machinist since my teen years. In my early 20s I went to school to be in the medical field. I did that for 14 years before I became I'll and disabled. Was stuck in bed for 2 years then in and out of a wheelchair for sometime. Now I'm back on my feet though I'm not or will not ever be the same. Never will make the big money I once did doing it either. I can't go back into the field I was in with my condition. I've been dabbling with jewelery for a bit but just now getting serious. I wish I would of followed my original passion for it and I would of been able to still do it after being disabled instead of starting over. . I regret it! Though I helped many folks young and old get better I suffer from PTSD from the horrible injuries and illness I witnessed for so long. Topped with my own illness and sudden change in life. I wish instead I was making beautiful things with my hands that others could enjoy. I'm full of regret so take my advice and run with your passion and don't let anything stop you... Money, women , friends ... none of it! Do what it is you want to do and be happy in life!

W´◉ₒ◉ˋW Oh my god I wish I was at this level I got disabled in an accident and I stumbled on jewellery making as I always lose jewellery and costs fortune to replace. I knew I could if I tried make better and cheaper and I've learned a lot but I'd love to be at this level I haven't all the tools here and that's what's stopping me I've spent hundreds in tools and owe quite quite a bit but j can't stop making and designing See my efforts they are like toys compared to your quality but you can see the practise in doing in hope to getting at any level. I've only being doing jewellery since 2007 selling from 2008 and I'm still slowly very slowly learning But I'd love to do soldering with claw work I started doing that but because of lack of tools •ᵉᵗ.ͨ I settled for wirework But I'd just love love love to be trained under someone like this You are just amazing I'm totally in awe thank you for an amazing video

Beautuful!!! Basically I am goldsmith. But by viewing this fantastic video i can only visualize the fine work. In India may be now this techniques may be used. Oterwise the traditional way they make the pendants. They never take such precautions to measure the size of the pendant. Sometimes, the weight may increases, or size may changes. But I learn lot from this practical making of beautiful pendant. Thanks for sharing such a wornderful video.

I used to make patterns in Brass for casting companies, 1) Plasticin in a dome-2) inserting cherniers (small tubes) around the center bezel-3) pouring plaster of Paris behind- 4) when dry soldering with Tenacity 4x hard solder, My smaller tube 1 mm, it is much easier to get the outline, no dividers and so on, which it will be difficult to use in small tubes. Anyway all replaced by digital CAD, CAM and Printer. Many ways lead to Rome

INCREDIBLE JEWELRY ART!! YOU ARE A MAESTRO OF FABRICATION!! I was not expecting the pearl embellishments, but that totally made a classic piece,,I did wonder though, why you did not maybe put more tiny posts in to hold the pearls [top drilled?] thinking maybe the epoxy might not last longer than the rest..,but since I am not the creator of such a magnificent piece as this,,it is really not mine to question..Stellar work and inspiring to an amateur/beginner like me! :)))

Your settng technique needs to be improved though. The only change I would make is to fit posts to each of the pearls. That way they are secure..... glue... no ... never glue as the main setting method. As a back up for an already secure pearl that has been half drilled .... yes. But the making of the piece... excellent. Utooth
